Utkal University hosted the launch of " ", a unique collection of legendary writer Ryunosuke Akutagawa's masterpieces, translated directly from Japanese to Odia by Prof. Nabin Kumar Panda. Organized by the Japanese Language Pilot Project, the event was presided over by VC Prof. Chandi Prasad Nand, alongside eminent scholars Prof. Jatindra K. Nayak, Prof. Basant K. Panda, and 'The Samaja' Publisher Sh. Rajendra K. Jena.
