Well recognised as a brilliant vocalist and an exceptional harmonist, Mr. Sashikant Sahoo has established himself in the music industry. One of the front ranking singers from Bhadrak his hallmarks are his powerful yet superfine dexterity. Trained in Hindustani vocal from guru Ranjit Mohapatra and now a scholar of Guru Dhaneswar Das, over his career he has already achieved many prestigious awards such as Third position on state level youth festival- 2013, participation in 2014 Swara Odisha, Finalist in Lions idol-2012, Smruti Arna Akshaya-2009, Swaroop Naik’s Talent search-2009, Third position in state level cultural competition-2001 and best accompanist in state level youth festival-2014.
