Padma Shri Adwaita Gadanayak, Director General of the KIIT Art Academy, is a celebrated sculptor and visionary shaping the future of Indian art.

From Odisha to global platforms, his journey reflects a powerful blend of tradition and contemporary expression. Trained at the Slade School of Fine Art, his works draw deeply from culture, nature, and spirituality.

He is the creative force behind iconic national sculptures, including the National Police Memorial and the grand statue of Subhas Chandra Bose at Kartavya Path — symbols of pride and legacy.

Former Director General of the National Gallery of Modern Art, he has significantly elevated the presence of Indian art on the global stage.

At KIIT Art Academy, he continues to inspire young creatives by bridging heritage with innovation, nurturing the next generation of artists and designers.
