Parashar, has published a research paper entitled "Optimization of (Ba1-xCax)(Ti0.9Sn0.1)O3 ceramics in X-band using Machine Learning" in the Journal of Alloys and Compounds with an impact factor of 6.4.

School of Applied Sciences, KIIT congratulates Dr. Rakesh Mohan Das, Assistant Professor for his recently published research article, titled “Enhancement of the laser-induced excitation probability of the hyperfine ground state of muonic hydrogen by a multipass cavity setup” in Applied Physics B, Springer with an impact factor of 2.1.

The study investigates the improvement of the probability of inducing magnetic dipole excitation in the hyperfine ground state of Doppler-broadened muonic hydrogen (p μ-) using a nanosecond laser pulse in the mid-infrared range. The enhancement is achieved by adjusting the laser pulse characteristics and utilizing a multipass cavity while maintaining the total irradiated target volume.

Kapilas Das from the School of Applied Sciences, KIIT, Department of Chemistry, KIIT, DU, pursuing his PhD under the supervision of Dr. Sanjoy Kumar Maji, has attended the first International Conference on “Sustainable Advanced Technologies for Environmental Management” organized by IIEST, Shibpur, Howrah, WB, India, from December 20–22, 2023.

He delivered his oral presentation on the topic of “BATCH AND COLUMN ADSORPTION OF HEXAVALENT CHROMIUM ON AQUAGUARD WASTE ACTIVATED CHARCOAL (AWAC).”

It's our immense pleasure to share that Kapilas Das has been selected and announced as the FIRST BEST PAPER PRESENTER and awarded the “FIRST BEST PAPER AWARD."
