Student Founded Voluntary Organisation Since 2012 Karunya started its projects with schools for tribal children who lacked basic amenities.

Karunya is a voluntary student organisation founded by three students from KIIT University- Snehadeep Kayet, Tatsat Singh and Souvick Das when they were in their first year of engineering. Karunya basically was the name of the team which these guys formed when they participated in a documentary shoot event based on social issues.
