Dr. Ramesh Chandra Sethi, Assistant Professor at the School of Law, participated in the Nurturing Future Leadership Program (NFLP), held 25-29 May 2026 and organized by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Jammu. The program was funded by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, under the aegis of the MMTTP. This selection-based, five-day leadership program is designed to build an ecosystem that inculcates leadership skills in faculty members and trains young faculty to contribute effectively and proactively to collective decision-making, shared governance, initiative development, and problem-solving. The program is also envisioned to create leaders and expand the pool of potential leaders for a range of leadership positions. Dr. Sethi expresses his sincere gratitude to the honorable VC, Pro-VC, and Registrar of KIIT University for nominating him for this prestigious program.

Heartiest congratulations to Ms. Anushka Bharadwaj, an 8th Semester student of KIIT School of Law, KIIT-DU, on successfully completing a prestigious research internship with the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC), Kathmandu, Nepal.

During her internship, Anushka undertook research on the topic, “Drug Trafficking Routes in the SAARC Region: Nexus with Terrorism Financing and Organized Crime,” gaining valuable insights into regional security challenges, transnational criminal networks, and their broader implications for South Asia.

Her dedication, analytical acumen, and quality of research were recognized through a Letter of Recommendation from the Director (Sri Lanka ESC) and a Completion Certificate awarded by Md. Golam Sarwar, Secretary General of SAARC.

We are proud of her achievement and wish her continued success in all her future academic and professional endeavors.
