KT Global School celebrated the *80th Independence Day* of our nation with great zeal, patriotism, and pride. The entire school campus was adorned in the tricolors and the atmosphere resonated with the spirit of freedom.

The celebration began with the ceremonial *Flag Hoisting* by the Chief Guest, Mr. Dutta sir along with our respected Principal, Dr. Rinku Sarangi.

The highlight of the morning was a magnificent *March Past*. It was led by the *NCC Junior Division Cadets* of our school, followed by the platoons of the four Houses - Ingenuity, Innovation, Inquiry and Invention and a Security Platoon. The synchronized steps, discipline, and house spirit displayed by the students drew loud applause from everyone present.

Following the March Past, a vibrant *Cultural Program* was presented by students from the *Pre-Primary, Primary, and Senior segments*. The tiny tots of Pre-Primary won hearts with their performance . The Primary students performed mass drill and a patriotic dance . The Senior students presented a powerful dance drama on the National Symbols of India - Banyan tree, Peacock, Tiger, Veena, Hockey, Lotus…which filled the air with national pride.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Dr. Rinku Sarangi spoke about the importance of 80th year of independence and urged students to contribute towards building a Viksit Bharat and cyber scam free India. The Chief Guest, Mr Dutta Sir, congratulated the students and teachers for the excellent display of discipline and talent.

Responding with pride to the call from the Khordha SDM, the Middle School students of KT Global School enthusiastically participated in the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative, carrying the message of patriotism, unity and national pride across the Khordha community.

Inspired by the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign has grown into a powerful people’s movement, encouraging citizens to bring the Tiranga into their homes and hearts and celebrate the spirit of a united India.

Our young learners stepped forward not merely as participants, but as young ambassadors of India’s unity and pride. Through their enthusiastic participation, they demonstrated that the spirit of nation-building begins with our children and grows stronger when every citizen becomes a part of it.

Our young environmental champions from the Middle School and Pre-Primary Wing enthusiastically participated in a Seed Ball Plantation Activity at school! 🌱✨

With little hands and big hearts, our students learned how simple actions can create a greener, healthier and more sustainable tomorrow. By preparing and throwing seed balls, they explored the joy of nurturing nature while understanding the importance of trees, biodiversity and environmental responsibility. 🌍💚

KT Global School conducted a Cyber Security Awareness Program* for students of Grades IX to XI to educate them about safe digital practices.

The session was led by officers from Khurda Police. The resource persons interacted with students and highlighted the growing importance of cyber safety in today’s digital world.

Key topics covered:
1. Online Safety: Safe use of social media, protecting personal information, and avoiding cyberbullying.
2. Cyber Crimes: Awareness about phishing, online fraud, identity theft, and fake news.
3. Legal Aspects: Information on IT Act, consequences of cyber offenses, and how to report cyber incidents.
4. Digital Well-being: Responsible use of internet, mobile phones, and gaming apps.

The officers also demonstrated real-life case studies and showed students how to identify suspicious links, secure passwords, and use privacy settings effectively. A Q&A session was held where students cleared their doubts regarding online safety.

The program was highly informative and interactive. It equipped students with practical knowledge to stay safe online and use technology responsibly.

KT Global School organized an Inter-House Group Song Competition to celebrate music, teamwork, and house spirit among students of Grades VI to XII.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from all four houses. Each house presented a melodious group song on theme - Folk Song. The performances were marked by harmony, synchronized actions, discipline, and vibrant costumes.

The competition was judged on the basis of rhythm, voice clarity, synchronization, expression, and overall presentation by our music teachers Mr Manoj Mati and Mr Biswajit Swain. The audience, comprising students and teachers, cheered for every team and made the atmosphere lively and energetic.

The Inter-House Group Song Competition was a grand success and showcased the musical talent of KTGians.
