The Department of Humanities, KIIT School of Liberal Studies, extends its heartiest congratulations to Dr. Debanjali Roy, Assistant Professor, for a remarkable international milestone!
Dr. Roy has been selected for the prestigious summer program, 'Discourse of Differences', offered by the University of San Diego, USA. Out of a highly competitive pool of global applicants, she has been awarded a full fellowship worth 395 USD to attend the program in online mode this June–July, 2026.
The selection committee highly commended her cutting-edge work in the field of Digital Humanities.

To celebrate the true spirit of selfless service, the Faculty members - Dr. Swati Samantaray, Dr. Khushboo Kuddus and Dr. Chetna Sinha - of the KIIT Department of Humanities - KDOH, KIIT School of Liberal Studies, spent a day filled with smiles, love, and stories at the Dearlife Charitable Foundation’s Khushiyon Ka Ghar Old Age Home, Bhubaneswar.
Founded on the philosophy of creating a compassionate society, this "𝐀𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠" 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 focused deeply on honoring our elders and ensuring they feel valued and cherished. Our elders are our roots, and bringing smiles to their faces was the greatest gift we could have asked for. Today reminded us all that the smallest act of giving can create a massive wave of happiness.

The spirit of “𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞” was beautifully reflected as the Faculty Members of the Department of Humanities, KIIT School of Liberal Studies, celebrated the 𝟏𝟑𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 in Bhubaneswar.
Through active community participation and thoughtful acts of kindness, our faculty members came together to spread positivity, compassion, and the timeless message of humanity. It’s a powerful reminder that the smallest act of giving can spark the brightest light in someone's life.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬, KIIT School of Liberal Studies, successfully conducted the dissertation viva for the MA English (2024 Admission Batch) on 22 April 2026. The session was marked by rigorous academic exchange and high-quality discourse. We were honored to have Dr. Asim Ranjan Parhi (Utkal University) and Dr. Amrita Satapathy (IIT Bhubaneswar) as our esteemed external examiners. Their profound feedback and scholarly guidance provided an enriching experience for both the candidates and the faculty involved.

Ananya Mishra, Research Scholar at KIIT School of Liberal Studies, has been honoured as a recipient of the 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐬, 𝐔𝐒𝐀.
She was privileged to present her paper, "Postmemory, Testimonial Veracity, and Graphic Narrative in the Holocaust," at the 56th Annual Scholars' Conference on the Holocaust and the Churches, a renowned international platform that draws leading academics and researchers from across the world. Her participation was fully funded by the Ackerman Center for Holocaust Studies at the University of Texas at Dallas, covering conference registration, travel, and accommodation; a testament to the significance of her scholarly contributions.
This experience has profoundly enriched her scholarly journey, widening her research perspective, fostering meaningful connections with leading thinkers in the field, and deepening her commitment to producing impactful work.

Quality and Quantity is a reputed international journal in quantitative social science research, with a legacy of over five decades, a CiteScore of 6.6, and an h-index exceeding 100, reflecting its strong academic impact.
The study integrates knowledge mapping with fuzzy ISM–MICMAC methodology to examine the role of artificial intelligence in advancing green human resource management practices.
