Culmination of Joy on Day 5 of the Happiness Camp
The final day of the " Relax, Reconnect, Rejuvenate " Happiness Camp (2026-27) at Apeejay School, Bhubaneswar, was a perfect blend of creativity, professional growth, and spirited intellectual exchange. As the five-day journey came to a close, the atmosphere was filled with a sense of renewed energy and purpose.
Morning Practice and Skill Building
The day commenced with dedicated practice sessions led by respective teachers in their assigned rooms, allowing everyone to refine the performances and projects nurtured throughout the week.
This was followed by an enriching Convo Craft Workshop in the school auditorium. We were honored to host Mr. Rutwick Vyas , a distinguished Life Skills Trainer, Language expert, and academician from MIT World Peace University’s School of Business. Special thanks to Mr. Subhendu Pal, whose efforts were instrumental in arranging this high-caliber session on our school premises.
The workshop focused on enhancing communication skills and professional etiquette, providing teachers with invaluable tools to navigate the evolving educational landscape.
Creativity and Presentation
From 12:30 p.m. onwards, the auditorium transformed into a vibrant hub of talent for the Presentation of Skills. The faculty showcased their diverse artistic flair and the fruits of the week's workshops, including:
Heena Designs: Exquisite, intricate, and traditional patterns.
Performance Arts : A spectacular showcase featuring Drama, Song, Aerobics, and Dance.
Cultural Heritage : A soul-stirring traditional Pala performance that captivated the audience.
Closing Reflections
The Happiness Camp concluded on a high note, successfully achieving its mission to help educators step away from their daily routines and rediscover their passions. The event served as a powerful reminder of the importance of self-care and collective joy in the teaching profession.
As the curtains fell on the 2026-27 Happiness Camp, teachers departed with a shared vision: " Refresh Your Mind, Renew Your Energy, Reignite Your Purpose."

ConvoCraft: Fine-Tuning Professional Communication for Impact
Apeejay School, Bhubaneswar recently hosted an enriching and thought-provoking session led by resource person Mr. Rutwick Vyas, Assistant Professor from MIT,World Peace University, Pune who focused on enhancing the art of impactful professional communication.
The session offered valuable insights and practical strategies to help educators strengthen meaningful interactions in both personal and professional spaces.
Key Highlights:
The Power of Listening – Effective communication begins with attentive listening. Slowing down, pausing, and truly listening reflect clarity, respect, and understanding.
Understanding Ego States – The session explored Parent Ego, Adult Ego, and Child Ego and how these influence our everyday conversations and responses.
Sensory Communication – An engaging discussion on utilizing all five senses to create stronger connections and enhance communication effectiveness.
Crafting Meaningful Conversations – Practical techniques to refine professional communication, build confidence, and create a lasting impact.
The interactive workshop empowered our educators with tools to communicate with greater purpose, empathy, and confidence—reinforcing the importance of lifelong learning and continuous growth.

A Day of Wellness, Creativity, and Connection
Today marked the fourth day of our incredible journey, and the energy was absolutely electric! We kicked off the morning at 8:00 a.m. in the Auditorium with a soul-soothing Yoga and Meditation session led by Mr. Sandip Paikray and Mr. Naveen and Ms Rosalin Das.
The momentum continued with a split of high-energy activities:
Male teachers took to the swimming pool with Mr. Jadumani.
The rest of the team engaged in a vibrant Aerobics session in the Auditorium with Ms. Alok Rani and Ms. Pragyan.
By mid-morning, our staff leaned into their artistic sides. From 9:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., the halls were filled with the sounds of Music and the drama of Theatre, guided by Mr. Amiya, Ms. Sagarika Pujari, Ms. Pranaya, and Mr. Ashish. We then transitioned to the Day Care Room from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., where Ms. Swagatika Shethy and Mr. Rishik led an immersive 3D Art and Canvas Painting session.
Professional Development Spotlight
Following our creative sessions, the focus shifted to academic excellence at 12:45 p.m. Resource persons Mr. Sameer and Mr. Sambit led a vital workshop on Strengthening Assessment & Evaluation Practices . This session provided our faculty with modern strategies to enhance student feedback and academic rigor.
The Grand Finale
To crown this phenomenal day, the entire team gathered for a sumptuous gala banquet. It was more than just a meal; it was a vibrant culinary celebration that allowed us to toast to our shared hard work and camaraderie.

The third day of the professional development programme was characterized by a productive blend of academic enrichment, faculty interaction, and recreational engagement.
Workshop on NCF in SE
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Venue: School Auditorium
The morning commenced with an intensive workshop focusing on the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE). The session was presided over by Dr. Laxmibati Das, a distinguished CBSE Resource Expert. Teachers engaged in interactive modules designed to enhance pedagogical skills and align classroom practices with the latest national standards.
Faculty Refreshments
Time: 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 pm.
Venue: Canteen Area
Following the workshop, the faculty team organized a refreshment break. Stalls featuring a variety of snacks provided a space for teachers to recharge and engage in informal networking within a cheerful and collaborative atmosphere.
Cinema Screening
Time: 12:45 pm – 2:35 p.m.
Venue: School Auditorium
The final segment of the day, organized by the CCA Team, featured a special movie screening. This session served as a team-bonding exercise, allowing colleagues to relax and enjoy a shared cinematic experience, fostering a sense of community and togetherness.
Day 3 successfully integrated professional growth with faculty welfare, resulting in a memorable experience that strengthened both the academic and social fabric of the institution.

OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE - XII BOARD RESULT 2026
The school proudly celebrates the exceptional performance of its students in the Grade XII Board Examination for the 2025-26 academic session. The remarkable results achieved this year reflect the institution’s steadfast commitment to academic excellence, holistic development, and the pursuit of educational distinction.
The top performers in Class XII are: Trisha Yashaswee Ray (93.8% - XII Science); Rafia Tabassum Riaz (93.4% - XII Commerce) and Sanjeev Sahoo (93.2% - XII Commerce ). They were followed by Shreyash Nayak, (92% - XII Science) and Smruti Swaplin Sundaray (89% - XII Science).
The commendable achievements of the students across all streams are a testimony to their perseverance, disciplined approach, and unwavering dedication towards their academic goals.
The students deserve heartfelt appreciation for their sincere efforts, resilience, determination, and commitment to excellence. Their ability to remain focused, disciplined, and optimistic throughout the academic year reflects their strong character and academic maturity.
This notable accomplishment is the outcome of the collective efforts and collaborative commitment of students, teachers, parents, and the school management. The invaluable contribution of the Heads of Departments, Academic Coordinators, and Subject Teachers deserves special appreciation. The second day of Happiness Camp was a vibrant mix of skill-building, artistic expression, and pure entertainment.
Teachers stepped out of their traditional roles to dive into a series of refreshing activities designed to rejuvenate the mind and spirit.
The morning kicked off with a splash at the Swimming Pool , where the female staff enjoyed an invigorating session, followed by a transition to the Computer Lab for an insightful workshop on AI and Presentation skills. This blend of physical wellness and professional growth set a dynamic tone for the day.
As the clock struck 11:30 a.m., the school echoed with rhythmic beats and dramatic flair. Whether it was mastering a new instrument in the Music Room or exploring emotions in the Theatre session, the creativity on display was truly inspiring. Teachers of Apeejay School, Bhubaneswar created " Unwinding, Upskilling, and Unforgettable Memories altogether !"

To wrap up the morning, teachers found their "zen" through the intricate arts of Cloth Painting & Embroidery (11:30 AM) guided by Ms. Swagatika & Mr. Rishik. It’s amazing to see the beautiful masterpieces being created when we give ourselves the space to play!
