Kiit-Central Research Facility

We, the staff members of the Central Research Facility, gathered together to celebrate Constitution Day with a collective reading of the Preamble. It was a moment of pride and unity as we reaffirmed our commitment to the values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity that guide our nation and our work.

Students of Class XII, along with five faculty members from Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 3, Bhubaneswar, visited the Central Research Facility, KIIT Deemed to be University, on November 12, 2025, as part of an exposure visit under the PM SHRI scheme. The visit aimed to provide students with hands-on learning experiences and insights into advanced scientific research and instrumentation facilities at KIIT.

We were delighted to welcome Prof. Rakesh Kumar Sharma, Professor, University of Delhi; Honorary Secretary, Royal Society of Chemistry (North India Section); and Coordinator, Green Chemistry Network Centre (GCNC), during his visit to the Central Research Facility (CRF) on 10th November 2025.
He visited the facility to explore the advanced instruments and understand their applications and advantages in scientific research.

Staff members of KIIT Central Research Facility (CRF) observed the Integrity Pledge on the occasion of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025, reaffirming their commitment to honesty, transparency, and accountability.
Held under the theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility,” the initiative aimed to promote ethical values and encourage collective efforts toward creating a corruption-free society. The observance reflected CRF’s unwavering dedication to fostering a culture of integrity, ethics, and moral responsibility among its members.

The 21st Annual Convocation of Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) will be held from 26th to 28th September 2025 at KIIT Campus-3, graced by Nobel Laureates and global leaders. This proud occasion marks the culmination of our students’ hard work, resilience, and dedication. With knowledge as their strength and purpose as their guide, KIITians are ready to step into the world as innovators, leaders, and changemakers. The Convocation is not just a celebration of academic achievement but a tribute to the dreams and determination of every graduate.

On 17th September 2025, the senior management team from ABI Showatech (a TVS Group company) visited the Central Research Facility, KIIT. They reviewed the advanced research infrastructure and discussed its potential applications in industrial projects. The visit highlighted the possibility of joint initiatives to bridge academic research with industrial needs.

We were delighted to host Mr. Sankhadip Mandal, DGM at Jindal Steel and Power Ltd., at the Central Research Facility, KIIT. During his visit, he explored the advanced research instruments and facilities available at CRF.

It was an honor to host Prof. Praveen Linga from the National University of Singapore (NUS) at the Central Research Facility, KIIT. Prof. Rojalin Sahu, Associate Dean of CRF, guided him through the facility, showcasing the cutting-edge instruments and research capabilities. The visit also highlighted how these state-of-the-art instruments are extensively utilized by students and researchers at KIIT, enabling them to conduct advanced experiments and innovative research across various disciplines.

Prof. Dhiraj K. Mahajan, Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Ropar, visited the Central Research Facility, KIIT, on 29th July 2025 to explore the range of advanced instruments and understand their research applications and advantages.

𝐊𝐈𝐈𝐓 𝐑&𝐃 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐥 in collaboration with the Iqac Kiit Odisha Cell is organizing a one-day workshop on "𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: 𝐓𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬, 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬, 𝐄𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬" on 18th June 2025.

This workshop is designed for all PhD scholars at KIIT, aiming to enhance research quality, uphold ethical standards, and promote best practices in academic research.
