Shivakumar- renowned business leader, Operating Partner at Advent International, an esteemed member of the Board of Governors at XIM University, and author of "The CEO Mindset: Developing Leadership Habits and Mental Models for Success"

XIM Bhubaneswar hosted an inspiring session organized by XSEED - The Entrepreneurship Cell, featuring a fireside chat on Entrepreneurship, Risk, and Building One’s Own Path.
The session was graced by Mr. Harsh*t Sharma, Co-founder & CBO of Newron, an alumnus of the XIMB 2019–21 batch, who shared his journey from MBA graduate to entrepreneur and insights on building India’s first MaaS tech platform for the K–12 education ecosystem.
The discussion covered calculated risk-taking, breaking career conventions, and the realities of entrepreneurship, along with practical inputs on startup building, funding, and networking.
The session concluded with a Q&A, closing remarks by Mr. Keshav K.P., Treasurer of XSEED, and tokens of appreciation presented by Mr. Prateek Tripathy, Coordinator of XSEED, along with the Alumni Committee.

XIM Bhubaneswar warmly welcomed the Batch of 2000 back home as Grand Homecoming 2025 unfolded into a heartfelt celebration of memories, milestones, and the enduring bond between the institution and its alumni.
The event was graced by the Vice Chancellor of XIM University, Dr. Fr. K.S. Casimir S.J.; Deputy Registrar, Fr. V. Arokiyadass S.J.; Faculty Coordinator of the Alumni Committee, Prof. Punyaslok Dhall; and esteemed alumnus Mr. Chandrahas Panigrahi, representing the Batch of 2000, as they reflected on the shared journey of XIM and its alumni.
Dr. Fr. K.S. Casimir S.J. highlighted the remarkable evolution of XIM University, emphasizing how the institution continues to adapt to changing times while staying deeply rooted in its alumni network. Fr. V. Arokiyadass S.J. expressed his hope that the reunion would help alumni relive cherished moments and create new memories. Prof. Punyaslok Dhall formally inaugurated the celebrations, warmly welcoming the alumni and setting the tone for the days ahead.
The reunion came alive through vibrant cultural evenings, a cozy bonfire night, and heartfelt conversations during Chai Pe Charcha. Mr. Chandrahas Panigrahi took everyone down memory lane, sharing anecdotes from campus life and reflecting on the Batch of 2000’s enduring legacy, including the evolution of events like Xpressions.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Aman Bokdia, Alumni Committee Coordinator, acknowledging the collective efforts that made Grand Homecoming ’25 a memorable success.
