XIM Bhubaneswar successfully concluded Ashwamedh’26, the flagship business conclave organized by X-ops, the Operations Committee of XIM Bhubaneswar, centered around the theme “Beyond Borders: Building Operations for a Geopolitically Fragmented World.”
The event commenced with the Ashwamedh'26 launch video and a brief introduction highlighting the changing business landscape and the growing importance of operations. It was followed by the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony and an introductory address by Prof. Arijit Mitra.
The distinguished panel featured Mrs. Suman M, Migration Sales Lead, Startups India, AWS; Mr. Manoranjan Mohapatra, Chief Investment Officer, DATOMS; Mr. Gyanendra Nath, Director, Project Operations and Technical, Vedanta; and Mr. Sovit Biswal, GM, Revenue & Operations, Home Easy.
The insightful sessions explored the impact of geopolitical fragmentation on global operations, the growing importance of resilience and glocalization, the role and responsible use of AI, the significance of local data, and the need to make informed decisions amid uncertainty. The speakers also highlighted the importance of flexibility, ethical leadership, operational resilience, and challenging conventional thinking in an ever-evolving business environment.
The session concluded with an engaging Q&A interaction with the students, offering valuable perspectives on navigating uncertainty, building resilient systems, and preparing for the future of operations. After which a token of gratitude was presented by Alcom - The Alumni Committee of XIMB, and the concluding note was given by Revanth R, the coordinator of X-ops.
