Neil, a proud father of Kuhu and Yash. In both the children Kuhu was an outrageously extrovert packed with an extreme adventurous personality. Whereas Yash was a timid Shy boy.

Kuhu's naughtiness was limited to her family, and relatives only.
Neil never stopped Kuhu from doing anything within his range. But then he never allowed few things like outing, meeting friends, going on trips, etc.

Neil gave her Mobile after she completed 18 years. But not even for once he checked it.

It was one of their relative's marriage. Kuhu as usual was winning the hearts of everyone and it included the groom's brother also.

He started taking interest in her, found various ways to spend more time with her. Neil watched everything and understand his motive.

One day he saw Kuhu doing something on her phone and smiling widely. He went towards her and asked in the sternest voice, "What r u doing?"
She got startled with sudden intrusion but later got confused by her father's behaviour.

This was the first time when he was asking something. During the past 3-4 days she has seen him getting overprotective of her. Especially when that particular person came within her range.

Yes, she noticed everything. Her father is fearing something.

Thus Understanding his fear of losing her to wrong person, she softly holds his hands and said,

"Listen, Papa. If I like any guy then u will be the first person to know everything. I will never Hide or Elope. Even if u beat me, scold me, or reject my choice, still I will always confide my every secret in you. Don't fear so much, Papa. Ur Trust is my sole strength and I will never betray it. Trust me" saying so she touched that string of Trust in Neil's heart which changed their relationship from parents to friends.

"April fool to you dear son" His father wished him in the morning.

"No papa wish me Happy Utkal Divas" Replied the little boy

"What do you mean by Utkal Divas, another holiday in the calendar" asked his papa with little anger in voice

" No papa , it is a day to remember that my ancestors were the greatest warriors, architects and we were the king of the ocean as the biggest merchants. It is a moment to remember that my state has taught the world the message of non violence and universal brotherhood by spreading Buddhism and Jagannath Culture. It is a day to remember the sacrifices of my ancestors and to learn to be proud for my past to build a better tomorrow for my people. It is also a day to remember , I am from a state which is the first language based state and my language is a classical language" Replied the kid.

Next moment the father was speechless and the morning radio being univocal with the son was playing " Vande Utkal Janani"

Positive thinking is not about expecting best to happen. It's about accepting whatever happens, happens for the best.
