Lakshmi Narain College of Technology (MCA), Bhopal organized an Expert Lecture on “Women Empowerment and Modern Society” on 13 March 2026 to celebrate International Women’s Day.

The session was delivered by Dr. Megha Kamble (Head & Professor, CSE, LNCTE) who inspired students by sharing insights on the importance of women empowerment, leadership, and equality in modern society.

The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from MCA students and faculty members, making the session informative and inspiring.

Faculties of IIC–LNCT (MCA) attended the MIC Driven Activity Post Budget Webinar (2026–27) on “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas – Fulfilling Aspirations of People” addressed by the Hon’ble Prime Minister on 9 March 2026. The webinar focused on Education, Skills, and University Townships and discussed key initiatives from the Union Budget 2026–27.

National Science Day Celebration at LNCT, Bhopal
Department of Computer Application successfully celebrated National Science Day on 26 February 2026, based on the theme “Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future” with a special focus on Women in Science – Leading Innovation, Inspiring Change.
The program was held from 01:00 PM to 03:30 PM at Room No. 305, under the guidance of Director Dr. Sanjay Bajpai and HODs Dr. Alka Gulati, Dr. Kavita Kanathey, and Dr. Jayanti Mehra, and was smoothly coordinated by faculty and student coordinators.

Today, a meeting was organized at Government High School, Keeratpur by the members of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of the LNCT Group.
The main objective of this meeting was to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, creative thinking, and technological awareness among the school students. During the session, students were informed about IIC activities, startup culture, and career guidance, helping them understand future opportunities and innovation-driven career paths.

An Expert Talk on “Impact of Artificial Intelligence” was organized by the Department of LNCT (MCA) under the IIC Cell. The session focused on the role of AI in digital transformation, innovation, and nation-building, highlighting its significance for students and youth in achieving Atmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat.

A workshop on Design Thinking, Critical Thinking, and Innovation Design was organized from January 19–20, 2026 for Diploma CSE (SoCST) and MCA students by the Department of CSE, AIML, and and MCA, LNCTS Bhopal. The workshop aimed to enhance students’ problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and innovation skills required to address real-world challenges in academics and industry.
During the inaugural function, the subject expert Prof. Goldi Bajaj from S. V. Polytechnic, Bhopal emphasized the significance of design thinking and critical thinking in fostering creativity and innovation. Principal SoCST, Dr. A. K. Sachan, Principal LNCTS, Dr. V. N. Bartaria, and OSD, Dr. Amitbodh Upadhyaya shared their valuable insights on the importance of innovation-driven learning and its impact on professional growth.
The vote of thanks was delivered by HOD, Dr. Bhupesh Gour. Members of the organizing committee, Dr. Bhawana Pillai, Dr. Ashish Kumar Khare, Dr. Vishwa Gupta, Prof. Surya Pratap, Dr. Neelu Singh (Organizing Committee Member), and Director LNCT (MCA), Dr. Sanjay Bajpai, were present and contributed significantly to the successful conduct of the program.

LNCT MCA organised a 2-day seminar on mathematics for AI, supported by the MP Council of Science and Technology, Bhopal, on the occasion of National Mathematics Day !!

Expert Session & National Entrepreneurship Day Celebration
“From Idea to Industry: Entrepreneurship in the New Age Era”

Lakshmi Narain College of Technology (IIC MCA), Bhopal in collaboration with KLIC–AIIC (Kalchuri Incubation Center) organized an Expert Session on the topic “From Idea to Industry: Entrepreneurship in the New Age Era” on 18th November 2025. The event was conducted as a part of the National Entrepreneurship Day 2025 celebrations in the MCA Department to promote innovation, startup culture and entrepreneurial thinking among students.

The expert speaker for the session was Mr. Divyanshu Pateria, Founder & CEO of Braktt Technologies and Co-founder & MD of ConceptoMotives.
The event was held from 03:00 PM to 04:00 PM at Hall S-21, Jagdish Chandra Bose Block, LNCTS, Bhopal.
The programme was organized under the guidance of Director Dr. Sanjay Bajpai and HOD (MCA) Dr. Jayanti Mehra. The event was coordinated by Dr. Virendra Kumar Tiwari and Dr. Neelu Singh, along with Dr. Sonal Sharma and Prof. Ashish Jain. At the end of the session, a token of appreciation and a plant/memento was presented to the resource person as a gesture of gratitude.
