Renowned Homoeopathic Doctor from Germany, Dr Matthias Strelow Graces State-Level Conference at GHMC Bhopal.

On April 1st, 2023, the Government Homoeopathic Medical College (GHMC Bhopal) in Bhopal held a State Level Homoeopathic Conference featuring Dr Matthias Strelow, a renowned homoeopathic doctor from Germany, as the Chief Guest. The conference was attended by Dr P N Pal Chowdhury, the Principal Incharge, along with Dr Nisanth Nambison, Dr SC Awasthi, and other professors from GHMC Bhopal and other districts of Bhopal. Also present were participants from the first year to final year of BHMS and MD scholars of GHMC Bhopal.

Dr Nisanth Nambison introduced the session, which was followed by a welcome speech from Principal Incharge Dr P N Pal Chowdhury. Dr Matthias Strelow then gave a presentation on Understanding Miasm and Germinal layer – “A new prospective”. During his presentation, Dr Strelow highlighted that homoeopaths are not just doctors, but scientists who seek to find out the causes of disease and treat the cause.

Dr Strelow also shared that the International Classification of Diseases (ICD) classification is now going by homoeopathic approach for the first time and GHMC Bhopal has collaborated with his organization, Campace, Germany, for the same purpose. In addition, the conference also felicitated members of the sickle cell disorder related research project of GHMC Bhopal.

In his address, Dr Pal Choudhary encouraged the students and staff of GHMC Bhopal to engage in more research work in the field of homeopathy. Dr Nisanth expressed his honor in collaborating with Campace Germany for this noble cause and announced that a new batch will soon begin.

The State Level Homoeopathic Conference at GHMC Bhopal was a great success, with the presence of Dr Matthias Strelow and his insightful presentation on homoeopathy. The conference emphasized the importance of research and innovation in the field of homoeopathy, and the collaboration between GHMC Bhopal and Campace Germany is a significant step in that direction.
