The Department of Mechanical Engineering, SISTec, successfully organised the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Sponsored Quiz Competition on 7th November 2025.

The event brought together enthusiastic participants who showcased their knowledge of standards, quality, and industry best practices through a highly engaging and competitive quiz round.

The session aimed to spread awareness about the importance of standardization, quality control, and BIS protocols in shaping India’s industrial landscape.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at SISTec Gandhi Nagar, under the banner of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), successfully hosted a session and panel discussion on innovation and start-up ecosystem enablers.

Building Automation Specialist Training at CRISP

5th semester Mechanical Engineering students underwent intensive training on Building Automation Specialist from 24th March to 24th June 2025 at CRISP Bhopal, under the National SC/ST Hub Scheme, Ministry of MSME, Government of India.

The training covered key areas like Mechatronics, CCTV Surveillance Systems, SCADA, PLC, and more.

As Building Automation Specialists, students are now equipped to design, install, and maintain systems that control HVAC, lighting, security, and fire safety in smart buildings.
