What does it really mean to work with children through theatre?
Not just teaching.
Not just performing.
But understanding, listening, and creating space.
Theatrics-30 is a step in that direction.
A pre-workshop that prepares actors to become facilitators..to engage, guide, and grow through the process.

Yesterday, “Dusri Duniya” by Nirmal Verma came alive through Hemant Deolekar’s performance.
More than a reading,. it was an experience where the audience not only felt the emotions, but journeyed through the very pace of the story.

Sketching the Human Story | Theatrics – 29 | Workshop
The final day of the workshop.
Amidst nature, people, and living moments, the lines began to move through us.
Today was about observing life as it unfolds —
and learning to capture its liveliness, rhythm, and emotion through live sketching.
From stillness to movement,
from seeing to truly feeling — the journey found its depth here. ✏️🎭

Sketching the Human Story | Theatrics – 29 | Workshop
Today’s session began with film screenings:
“Vollmond” by Pina Bausch
“A Chairy Tale” (1957) by Norman McLaren and Claude Jutra
Through these works, participants explored how every art form begins with lines, emotions, thoughts, rhythm, and imagination.
The session then moved into practice — participants created storyboard sketches, using lines to portray an emotion and translate it into visual poetry.
Slowly, the lines started turning into movement, character, and performance. ✏️🎭
