English Symposium ‘KAIROS’ was organized by Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar in the auditorium. KAIROS is an ancient Greek word meaning ‘the right or opportune or supreme moment.’

It brought together all the eminent Professors and Expert Trainers from across the country and from the USA, who suggested the new methods of teaching to make English Teaching effective and fruitful. The symposium was supported by speakers from different schools as well. There were open sessions on both the days where practical problems faced by the teachers were discussed and the experts’ views made the audience realize the change that should be immediately implemented in the Classroom Teaching Methods.

Keynote speakers, Ms. Jessica Cinco, Professor at Arizona State University, Ms. Jennifer Thomas, Assistant Professor at Tata Institute of Social Sciences and Ms. Usha Pandit, CEO at Mindsprings Mumbai, conducted sessions on “Bringing Innovation in the Classroom Teaching.”

CBSE National Judo Championship was held in the School premises from November 26th – 29th, 2016. The Opening Ceremony was chaired by Chief Guest Mr. Alok Sanjar, MP and Guests of Honor were Mrs. Divya Sharma and Mr. Jeevan Sharma, Chief Judo Coaches at SAI.

A total of 600 Judokas from all over India took part in the National Championship. Officials and Observers were appointed by the CBSE for the smooth conduction of event in all the 43 different weight categories of U/11, U/14, U/17 and U/19.

The event concluded with the Closing Ceremony and medal distribution to the winners by The Chief Guest Mr. Upendra Jain, Director Sports and Youth Welfare and Guest of Honor Dr. Sher Singh, Tournament Director. The Overall Championship was won by Queen’s Valley School, Delhi. A team from UAE also participated with great zeal and enthusiasm and returned home with two bronze medals.

Aspire Meet on 30th June, 2016

Aspire activity was conducted, where Mr. Santosh Hegde, fromer Justice of Supreme Court of India was the speaker. He shared his experiences and told the students about the current situation of the country. He focused on two main values of life i.e. “Contentment” and “Humanism”. The talk was followed by Question-Answer session. Overall the session was very interesting and fruitful for our students.

Class 7th F presented the morning assembly on the topic Make Food Safe.

Students of sagar public school, saket nagar conducted a silent march in Saket nagar, Bhopal to give a condolence to the security guard who lost his life while performing his duty. It was an awareness march for the parents, not to give vechicles to children below 18 years.

A 3-day workshop was organized at Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar from 28th to 30th Dec 2015 on Spoken English & Personality Development.It was exclusively designed for the wards of the staff members of Sagar Group.
