आज भारत के पहले नेशनल सेलिंग स्कूल भोपाल का स्थापना दिवस है। 8 अगस्त 2007 में आज ही के दिन उस समय की खेल मंत्री श्रीमंत यशोधरा राजे सिंधिया ने दूरदर्शिता दिखाते हुए इस स्कूल की स्थापना की थी ।

नेशनल सैनिक स्कूल भोपाल से आज तक कई राष्ट्रीय अंतरराष्ट्रीय खिलाड़ी दिए हैं जिन्होंने प्रदेश के साथ-साथ देश का गौरव भी बढ़ाया है। आज हम गर्व से कह सकते हैं की नेशनल सेलिंग स्कूल भोपाल के पास एशियन गेम्स 2018 में पदक जीतने वाली विजेता खिलाड़ी हर्षिता तोमर और 2023 एशियन गेम्स में रजत पदक विजेता नेहा ठाकुर है , उसके अलावा अन्य अंतरराष्ट्रीय खिलाड़ी है जिन्होंने एशियाई चैंपियनशिप व अंतरराष्ट्रीय प्रतियोगिता में पदक जीते हैं, उनमें एकता यादव , रितिका डांगी, उमा चौहान , शीतल वर्मा और राममिलन यादव प्रमुख है ।
हमारे युवा खिलाड़ियों की कड़ी मेहनत और लगातार मिलने वाली सफलताओं को देखते हुए पूर्ण विश्वास है की 2026 में होने वाले एशियाई गेम्स और 2028 में आने ओलंपिक गेम्स में नेशनल सेलिंग स्कूल भोपाल के खिलाड़ी पदक अवश्य जीतेंगे।
पूरे देश में नेशनल सेलिंग स्कूल भोपाल सीलिंग खेल की नर्सरी के रूप में जाना जाता है और लगातार युवा खिलाड़ी यहां से निकल रहे हैं और देश और प्रदेश का नाम रोशन कर रहे हैं। सभी पूर्व वर्तमान खिलाड़ियों को हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं

Congratulations to all sailors of MP Water Sports Academy (NSS Bhopal) shown an outstanding performance in recently conducted YAI 1st round selection trials for Asian Games in ILCA 4 and won both boys and girls categories also YAI Youth National held from 11 - 20 Oct 22.
events held at Marve Malad our sailors have won 06 Gold , 02 Silver and 03 Bronze Medals.

Superb performance from Neha Thakur who won both events and for Shenshank Batham also winner of both event in ILCA 4 and Optimist class.

Congratulations to MP Water Sports Academy young sailors by winning two back to back YAI National Youth Ranking Championships held at Mysore from 28 Jul to 04 Aug and 08 To 13 Aug 22.

Optimist Gold and Silver won by Shenshank Batham and Eklavya Batham. In Girls categories Divyanshi won both Gold and other girl Shagun Won Silver and Bronze .

ILCA 4 Girls Neha Won Gold in 1st championship at RMSC and Sheetal Sandhav Silver in 2nd championship

Hyderabad YAI National Ranking Championship held from 11 to 17 Jul 22. Our Sailors have won two Gold, one Silver and One Bronze Medal.

Indeed it's a very good performance from young Boys Shenshank Batham, Eklavya Batham, who had a very close contest through out championship and Finally Sheshank able to win his first National level title and Eklavya secured 2nd position and won Silver .
In Girls category Divyanshi Mishra won Gold and Shagun Jha Bronze.

Sail India YAI National Ranking Championship held at Mumbai from 09to 15 Dec 21. Thanks our sailors who sailed well specially in high performance boats Nacra and 49er FX. Ekta and Harsh*ta with their crew Kartik from Indain Army and Shweta from Maharashtra. Uma who sailed with Ravindra Sharma from India Navy won Gold medal . In laser Radial first time sailing in senior class our both young girls have won Gold and silver medals.

Best wishes to 12 Year old Eklavya Batham of MP Water Sports Academy also member of National Sailing School, Bhopal, who will represent India in IODA World Sailing Championship to be held at Riva Del Garda, Italy from 01 to 10 Jul 2021

FINALLY !! After a long time Sailing is back, and what a way to start the campaign. Recently conducted YAI Senior National 2020 at Mumbai, sailors from our academy have won 3 Gold and 2 Silver Medal in 49erFX, Laser Radial 470 Mix classes, Congratulation to the team of Ekta Yadav & Ritika Dangi, Harsh*ta Tomar, Shardha Verma, Ravinder Sharma Uma Chauhan, Sonu Jatav, Sheetal Verma & Vanshika Parihar. We able to make it possible because of a very positive approach and outstanding support from President Madhya Pradesh Yachting Association Shrimant Yashodhara Raje Scindia, Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs and Director of Sports govt of Madhya Pradesh congratulated the sailors and the coaching staff consisting of Arjuna Awardee G L Yadav and Assistant Coach Anil Sharma.
