As you are kindly aware that, Government of India has formulated Next Generation Incubation Scheme (NGIS) under aegis of Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY) which is implemented by STPI. The vision of the NGIS to drive the rise of India as a Software Product Nation so as to make the country a global player in development, production and supply of Innovative, Efficient and Secure Software Products as envisioned in the National Policy on Software Products (NPSP) – 2019.

You will be happy to know that, Bhubaneswar has been selected as one of the location for launching the NGIS along with other 12 locations Agartala,Bhilai, Bhopal Dehradun, Guwahati,Jaipur, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Mohali, Patna & Vijaywada.

The basis objective of the Scheme to support up to 300 Startups/entrepreneurs with Incubation, Finance, Mentorship support through pan India mentor pool and Entrepreneurs Platforms to enable networking, knowledge-sharing and co-learning.

As part of this initiative NextGen Startup Challenge Contest (CHUNAUTI – Challenge Hunt Under NGIS for Advanced Uninhibited Technology Intervention), an online Challenge under NGIS to find the products & solutions to address the issues/challenges faced during and post pandemic situation. CHUNAUTI is looking to identify and support the solutions which can support Government, industries & public at large for their seamless operations and enabling them to face the varied difficulties & bottlenecks during and post pandemic situation on following Key Focus Area:

Supply Chain, Logistics & Transportation Management
Infrastructure & Remote Monitoring

The Selected Startups/Applicants shall be offered Seed funding of up to Rs.25 lakhs and Startups selected in the pre-incubation program will also be paid Rs.10,000/- Per month for a period of 6 months. Proposals/applications are invited from Indian Start-ups who are working in domain related to software product development. Individual Academicians, Researchers, Educators, Entrepreneurs as well as Partnership firms, LLPs may also participate However, if selected, they will have to register as private limited company in a stipulated time (preferably within 3 months).
