A contingent of 16 students from Grades IX–XII of Delhi Public School Bhopal delivered a scintillating performance titled “Roast of Shakespeare” at SPS Saket Nagar, as part of the Bhopal Shakespeare Festival 2026, aptly christened “Shakespeare Rewind: As We Like It” on 17 April 2026, under the patronage of Club Literati.

The presentation unfolded as a delightful theatrical spectacle, where iconic characters from the plays of William Shakespeare took centre stage to humorously indict their creator for their perceived flaws. Infused with sharp sarcasm, lively slapstick comedy, impeccable dialogue delivery, and authentic portrayals, the performance left the audience enthralled and in peals of laughter.

The festival also featured commendable performances by Sanskar Valley School and the host institution. Madam Seema Raizada, Founder and President of Club Literati, lauded the Dipsites and applauded the mentors, Ms Mitika Jhanda and Ms Deepali Begwani, for their monumental dedication.

A Journey of Ideas and Inspiration at Jaipur Literature Festival 2026

From 17–19 January 2026, the DPS Bhopal contingent had an enriching experience at the Jaipur Literature Festival 2026. Students attended inspiring sessions by eminent speakers, including Gaur Gopal Das on mindful living, Prasoon Joshi on creativity in the age of artificial intelligence, and an engaging dialogue between Vir Sanghvi and former Chief Justice of India D.Y. Chandrachud on constitutional values.

Book-signing interactions deepened literary appreciation, while vibrant cultural activities such as puppet dance, block printing, mehndi art and festive food stalls added colour to the learning experience. The visit truly exemplified learning beyond classrooms.
