The Indian Innovation Award, 2005 for AISECT's Innovative Multipurpose IT kiosk model given by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Former President of India, to Shri Santosh Choubey, Founder & Chairman of AISECT

NASSCOM IT Innovation Initiative is a quest for the most imaginative, out-of-the-box thinkers and ideas companies among the emerging Indian ICT players. AISECT won the prestigious NASSCOM IT Innovation Award in 2006. It is the only organization from Central India which has been selected for this award. Out of the total 136 entries, six organizations were shortlisted and AISECT was one of the toppers. The award was given at NASSCOM GLOBAL LEADERSHIP FORUM 2006 by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Former President of India. AISECT was recognized for its innovative efforts in promoting Information and Communication Technologies and creating content for the Rural and Tribal areas of the country. As a framework of ideas, AISECT’s strategy has been recognized as one of the most successful strategies for rural India.

The Santosh Choubey Centre for Social Entrepreneurship (SCCSE) aims to be a potential source for social entrepreneurship education and research, with a focus on the role of the public domain in the integration of socially vulnerable people. SCCSE's main purpose is to contribute to the increasing competence of third-sector organisations and private individuals engaging in voluntary social work
