World Intellectual Property Day was celebrated at LNCTE with this year theme "IP and Youth”: World IP day observed at LNCTE by IIC - LNCT, on this occasion a seminar was organized , the object was to learn about the role that intellectual property (IP) rights play in encouraging innovation and creativity and how intellectual property rights can support the youth of tomorrow to create a better future.

Lakshmi Narain College of Technology Excellence (LNCTE) - Institute Innovation Council (IIC) organized a 𝙌𝙪𝙞𝙯 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 on the occasion of N𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙏𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮 𝘿𝙖𝙮 on May 11, 2022.The Quiz competition was conducted in 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚 mode from 3:30𝙥𝙢. The IIC - LNCTE organized a visit to KLIC, LNCT GROUP’s incubation centre on Monday – April 25 , 2022 as a part of IIC - Calender activity . Around 84 students were part of this external classroom session and were accompanied by Dr. Sudeshna Ghosh Dr. Prashant Purohit, Dr. Abhinav Bhargav and Prof. Megha Jain, Where team KLIC and Mr. Manish Shrivastav Ji

Students were introduced to various concepts of Innovation in the practical world and how their incubation centre aids to the birth of new start-ups. The students felt extremely privileged in exploring the centre physically and dwelling more about the facilities offered by the centre to start ups. This visit not only provided our students with an open environment for learning but also made them mirror the practical world outside.

At KALCHURI LNCT GROUP OF INCUBATION CENTER (KLIC), we have taken the charge of providing essential services such as fund support, management, mentorship, co-working space, and state-of-the-art technical assistance to the budding business units. By playing the role of both startup incubator and accelerator, we aim at training and mentoring young people to fuel their inner drive to innovate. Session on BMC: Business Model Canvas by IIC - LNCTE : Institution Innovation Council (IIC) of LNCTE has organized a session titled ‘Business Model and Canvas (BMC)’ on April 08 , 2022. It was well-received by more than 100 participants. Prof. (Dr.) Prashant Purohit started the session with a warm welcome to all the attendees; he introduced the LNCTE- IIC, and gave an overview of its function & activities. He then introduced the guest speaker, Dr. Anurag SD Rai , Director - KLIC ( Kalchuri LNCT Group Incubation Center)
He started the session by stating the nine-block business model – Customer Segments, Value proposition, Channels, Customer relationship, Revenue Streams, Key Resources, Partners and Cost Structure. BMC is a strategic tool that helps to achieve business goals in a systematic approach. He also enlightened the attendees on the opportunities and challenges that the BMC model has created. He further encouraged all to follow their dreams of building their own start-ups with a systematic approach.
The session was quite interactive which ended with a Q&A session, allowing the participants to clarify their doubts about the BMC model. Dr. Sudeshna Ghosh proposed the vote of thanks. Prof. Megha Jain, Dr. Abhinav Bhargava were present on the occasion

-“How to plan for start-up? Legal & Ethical Steps”
In order to provide students with the basic knowledge about how to plan a start-up and the steps to be taken towards achieving goals, IIC- LNCTE organized a workshop on the topic-“How to plan for start-up? Legal & Ethical Steps” on April 7th 2022
The speaker of the session was Er. Harshvardhan Mishra , Founder – Go Easy services Pvt. Ltd.
The session focused on Business Start-up and Entrepreneurship. The intention or the objective of the session was to help the students to plan a start-up of their interest. Various aspects of startups were discussed in the program including the idea, mission and legal methods. He emphasized that more than earning for ourselves, startups should be quite innovative that would help the lives of ordinary people.
This leadership talk was strengthened by 92 students & IIC-LNCT, members. Dr. Anurag SD Rai , Director – Kalchuri LNCT Group Incubation Center was also addressed the session. IIC of LNCTE organized a Webinar on “Design Thinking, Critical Thinking and Innovation Design” on 28th February in an online mode. The guest speaker was Professor (Dr.) Ajit Upadhyaya , Director , PIMR - Dewas , who enlightened the students with knowledge regarding creativity and designing. He emphasized the importance of creativity . Design thinking provides a structured Q that helps innovators break free of counterproductive tendencies that thwart innovation.

On the occasion of International Day of Action for Rivers on 14.03.2022, The IIC- LNCTE & Quest Nature Club , LNCT GROUP in association with Kabadiwala organized an environmental awareness event on "Zero Waste Campus Awareness Program & Opportunities in Green Entrepreneurship ".
The main objective of the workshop was to educate students and provide them with holistic understanding of Solid Waste Management (SWM) issues, ill effects of bad/wrong practices of SWM, best practices of SWM and importance of proper sanitation.
Key Speakers explained the 5R principle- refuse, reduce, reuse, recycle and rot. Try to reduce the use of all non biodegradable substances. Try to reuse the reusable substances. Try to recycle things such as plastic. We came across various handmade materials reusing things such as tetrapacks, used jeans etc.
Through this workshop students have come to know many ways of segregating materials, processing or recycling. The main point that has been conveyed through this workshop was to reduce the waste produced so that we won’t have to segregate it. The workshop was interesting, interactive, engrossing and an eye opener for all.

Workshop on Entrepreneurship Skill, Attitude & Behavior Development :
Institute's Innovation Council of LNCTE organized an Online workshop on "Entrepreneurship Skill, Attitude & Behaviour Development" on 26/02/2022 (12:30 PM- 01:45 PM) on the Zoom Platform . The guest speaker of the event was Professor (Dr.) Ajit Upadhyaya , Director-Prestige Institute of Management, Dewas, MP. He is an educator, a trainer, a resource faculty, a motivator and a highly motivated professional with experience in Learning and development, Process building with training small and large groups across diverse industries, academic institutions & training centers . Proven success in leveraging educational theories and methodologies to design, develop, and deliver successful training programs and integrate instructional technology to provide onsite and virtual training .
This workshop aimed to spark the entrepreneurial spirit in the budding innovators by guiding them on how to convert their Innovative Ideas and emerge as successful Entrepreneurs. Becoming an entrepreneur is an important career decision, and to plunge into this domain requires the right skill set, attitude, and behaviour.
The speaker highlighted some of the key characteristics of an entrepreneur, which are:
1 Empathy is instilled through entrepreneurial ideals and related "ways of thinking, doing, feeling, seeing, communicating, organizing, and learning things."
2 Development of strategic thinking and scenario planning skills, as well as the ability to make intuitive decisions based on little knowledge.
3 Stimulating a variety of entrepreneurial behaviors such as seeking for and seizing opportunities, networking, taking initiative, convincing others, and making intuitive decisions. This necessitates a diverse set of pedagogical tools.
