We wanted to share with you the wonderful experience our grade 3 students had during their recent visit to .geostellar.club at KJ Somaiya College Vidyavihar. We took them to the Geology Department Museum, where they were immersed in a fascinating exploration of the Earth’s structure, various types of rocks, fossils, and minerals.

The Geology MSc students had thoughtfully set up stations showcasing different rocks, providing hands-on learning opportunities for our young learners. It was incredible to witness how engaged and enthusiastic the students were as they absorbed new knowledge and had fun at the same time.

Overall, it was an enriching experience for them, and we are thrilled to see them grow and learn in such interactive settings. We look forward to more educational adventures like this in the future!

As part of culture committee’s initiative, the whole-school assembly was facilitated by Sumedha on the topic of understanding anger and learning positive ways to deal with. The students were first shown a video where they observed a child feeling angry because of one incident, not doing anything about it and then was stuck being angry and a lot of them were quick to identify the emotion as anger. The next part was understanding what is anger, how it affects our body and finding out 5 simple ways to cope with it without hitting oneself or anyone else. These five ways are as follows: A for awareness, B for breathing, C for counting, D for Distance and E is for expressing. It is absolutely okay to feel angry but not at the cost of hurting oneself or others. It is crucial for students from all age groups to learn to deal with this emotion in a positive manner. The students also learnt three breathing techniques to calm down: bumble bee breath, candle breath and rainbow breath.

The videos used for this assembly were from the following youtube channels and . A certain part from the story, “The Boy who was stuck being angry”, produced by . The assembly wouldn’t have been possible without the support of some of our teachers namely Alpa, Roshan, Ajal and Gauravi who stepped in for technical support, in order to conduct the Assembly smoothly.

When your school's vision matches the vision of the city commissioner, you know good things lay ahead!

We are so proud and happy to have had the opportunity to meet the commissioner of Nizampur Municipal Corporation of Bhiwandi, Mr. Ajay Vaidya.
Today, he is the face of transformation in Bhiwandi. His eye for detail, meticulous jurisdiction, and passion for transforming the city and lives of residents of Bhiwandi have yielded significant results. With a solid academic background, Mr. Vaidya comes to service with rich experience and know-how of governance.

Thank you for inspiring our students and gracefully accepting to be our guest of honor for our school's annual function.
Sir, we would love to RE-IMAGINE Bhiwandi with you and learn from you. We need more leaders like you!

During the first assembly of 2024, the team of Kg2 B students led and guided by Miss Prajakta and Mrs. Aayushi, left a mark and a long-lasting impression in the audience's minds. The students performed a drama to raise awareness about cleanliness amongst school students and staff members. During planning time, when the teachers showed the students a video on how human beings carelessly dump their waste in the environment without even segregating it, they understood that it affects animal habitats and animals.
From that moment, the students were keen to do a drama performance and spread the message about disposing household waste mindfully. The words of every single student were loud, clear, and understandable to the audience.
What also made it more exciting was seeing students in outfits suited to their roles. The drama was so impactful and great that the audience could not resist appreciating the students with a huge round of claps. It was the first assembly for both Prajakta and Aayushi at Polymath, which they executed so skillfully and are worthy of all our appreciation.
