Senior Citizen Day was celebrated at Sharda Vidyalaya with 💐great respect, warmth, and honour, paying tribute to the invaluable role of grandparents💐 in the lives of children and families.

The celebration began with a heartfelt 🙏welcome to the grandparents, who were greeted with bouquets as a token of love and respect.🙏 A melodious song was then dedicated to the grandparents, creating a warm and emotional atmosphere.

The highlight of the celebration was a *meaningful skit portraying the importance and irreplaceable value of grandparents in the lives of their grandchildren.* The performance beautifully showcased their love, wisdom, guidance, and selfless care.

As a gesture of gratitude and respect, the *grandparents were felicitated with a coconut and a shawl, symbolising our heartfelt appreciation for their presence, blessings, and countless contributions* to the family.

*Sharda Vidyalaya, Risali* proudly celebrated the *80th Independence Day* with great patriotic fervour, enthusiasm, and pride. The celebration was graced by our esteemed *Director, Shri Sanjay Ojha Sir, as the Chief Guest*.

The programme commenced with the *Flag Hoisting and National Anthem*, followed by vibrant wing-wise presentations, patriotic dances, and inspiring performances by our talented students. Each presentation beautifully reflected the spirit of patriotism, unity, and love for the nation.

Tricolour Celebration In Balvatika Wing
The wing celebrated the Tricolour with pride and enthusiasm, filling the school with the vibrant colours of our National Flag. 🇮🇳 The little learners participated in engaging activities and beautifully displayed the spirit of unity, patriotism and love for our nation. The celebration helped children understand the significance of the three colours and the Ashoka Chakra in a joyful and age-appropriate way.

🇮🇳 Independence Day Week Celebration
As part of the Independence Day celebrations, a week-long series of patriotic activities was conducted in the school. Students beautifully decorated their classrooms with Tricolour-themed creative displays and patriotic messages. Sharda Vidyalaya, Risali, *celebrated Hareli through a vibrant special assembly highlighting the importance of nature, greenery, harvest, and our rich cultural heritage*.

The programme included a traditional Hareli Puja, melodious song presentation, graceful dance, poem recitation, and a special Gedi presentation by the students. Students also shared information about the significance of Hareli and the traditional Gedi.

The celebration beautifully blended culture, tradition, and environmental awareness, creating a meaningful and memorable experience for all.
