National Space Day 2024 was celebrated with enthusiasm by the Department of Physics and Electronics on 23.08.2024. Various programs were organized on this memorable day. A quiz competition was held to test the students knowledge about space and science. Further the students presented their self made posters on the theme of space day. This was accompanied by a lecture delivered by H.O.D Dr. Amit Kumar Tamrakar. A wonderful speech was also delivered by one of M.Sc student Harsh Shrivastava. By the end of the program a youtube live session of "INDIA's MAIDEN NATIONAL SPACE DAY CELEBRATION" was attended by all the students.

M.Sc. Physics session 2024-26 Induction program for the newly admitted students was held in the department on 17.-8.2024. The induction program was accompanied by inauguration of the departmental forum "PhyNics" and selection of the forum committee members.
