Did you know the strongest part of a plant is often the one we can’t see? 🌿

Roots work quietly beneath the soil to:

💧 Absorb water and minerals

🌼 Help the plant grow healthy and strong

🤯 Mind-Blowing Fun Fact:
Many people think ginger is a root... but it isn’t! 🌿

🫚 Ginger is a rhizome — a special type of underground stem.
Why?
✅ It has nodes (joints) and buds (eyes).
✅ New shoots and roots grow from these buds.
✅ It stores food and helps the plant reproduce.

🥔 Potato is also an underground stem, and 🧅 onion is a bulb—so not everything that grows underground is a root!

Nature is full of amazing surprises. Keep your little explorers curious! 🌱💚
