Interaction with Jayadeva Ranade, President – Centre for China Analysis and Strategy

The IIDL–RMP cohort met with Jayadeva Ranade, President of the Centre for China Analysis and Strategy, to discuss intelligence gathering, geopolitical strategy, and China’s regional behavior.
🔹 We understood intelligence gathering not as espionage theatrics, but as a disciplined practice of data analysis and pattern recognition.
🔹 We explored China’s strategic posture during crises, including their technological leverage and the vulnerabilities within global supply chains.
🔹 We analyzed how external disruptions, such as pandemic-era dynamics, can trigger or amplify internal conflicts within nations.
🔹 We examined the geopolitical fragility of South Asia and how the regional balance is constantly recalibrated by global power shifts.
🔹 We learned that geopolitical strategy is rarely loud; it is incremental, layered, patient, and deeply strategic.
Through this profound exchange, we gained a new and mature perspective on global power dynamics and India’s strategic security.

Can AI shape political campaigns? Can data support better public outreach?

Aishwarya’s sessions showed us how AI, prompt engineering, and digital strategy are now part of modern political consulting. From constituency profiling to opposition research and content planning, we explored how structured thinking can turn technology into a real governance tool.

We also learned how campaigns are planned, budgeted, and executed, giving us a realistic view of how political communication works on the ground.

Digital leadership today needs both strategy and ethics.

How do platforms shape political conversations? And how do narratives travel faster than facts?

Malhar Pandey’s session took us inside the world of X, LinkedIn, Instagram, and WhatsApp, helping us understand how each platform plays a different role in public communication. We also explored how AI tools can support research and content planning, not to replace thinking, but to strengthen strategy.

The biggest takeaway?

Digital credibility is built through consistency, not virality.

At Rajniti in the Digital Yuga, Shri Yogesh S. Udgire reminded us that young individuals are not only the future of the nation, but active contributors to its development today.

As the host and mentor for this workshop, Yogesh ji ensured that our IIDL cohort experienced learning that was both practical and reflective. Through masterclasses and interactions with experts in AI and social media, students explored frameworks such as systems thinking and opportunity mapping, and applied these tools to build their own narratives using prompt engineering and digital strategy.

The sessions helped our cohort understand how meaningful impact is created when people, tools, and processes work in alignment, linking personal growth with public responsibility.

We are grateful to Yogesh ji and his team for guiding our students to think beyond platforms and focus on creating value through purposeful engagement.

It was not about posting more.
It was about thinking better.

On Vasant Panchami, we celebrate learning as the foundation of leadership. 🪷

At IIDL, we see education not only as personal growth, but as preparation for public responsibility. Our cohort is learning to engage with institutions, communities, and real-world challenges, because knowledge finds its true purpose when it serves society.

As we welcome the season of renewal, we reaffirm our belief that informed youth are essential to building a stronger, more responsible Bharat.

Wishing everyone a thoughtful and inspiring Vasant Panchami! 🙏🏻

What does political work look like in a fast-changing India?

In his interaction at Karyasadhak, Shri Tejasvi Surya ji spoke about the evolving role of political sahayyaks, from grassroots feedback to strategic thinking.

He highlighted how today’s political offices require teams that are alert, responsive, and deeply connected to people’s aspirations. Political assistance, he said, is no longer limited to logistics, but is about understanding issues, anticipating challenges, and supporting informed decision-making.
