🤖 Blix-a-thon 2026: From Gujarat to the National Stage

It was a proud moment for Amarjyoti Saraswati International School (ASIS) as our Under-16 Robo-Precision Team secured 4th position at the Gujarat Regionals of the Blix-a-thon Robotics Competition 2026, held in Surat, and successfully qualified for the National Level Competition. 🇮🇳🏆

Our team consisted of four young innovators:

- Hitarth Dhrangdharia
- Khadija Dholia
- Tvisha Sharma
- Dron Gohel

The journey was filled with practice, challenges, learning, and teamwork. Under the guidance of AI & Robotics Teacher Manthan Kathiriya, the students worked consistently to improve their robot’s precision, movement, timing, and overall performance.

For the students, the competition was a valuable learning experience. They learned the importance of patience, coordination, problem-solving, teamwork, and staying calm under pressure. Competing with teams from different schools also gave them the opportunity to observe new ideas and learn from others.

Securing 4th position was a wonderful achievement, but qualifying for the National Level has made the journey even more exciting. The team is now looking forward to improving further and taking on the next challenge with greater confidence.

We are extremely proud of our young innovators and appreciate the support of their parents, teachers, and the entire ASIS team.

🇮🇳 80th Independence Day Celebration at Amar Jyoti Saraswati International School

Amar Jyoti Saraswati International School celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with great enthusiasm, patriotic spirit, and pride on 15th August 2026 at the ASIS Ground.

Our esteemed Chief Guests, Mr Vijay Bansal and Mrs Kusum Lata Bansal, honoured the celebration, adding special significance to the occasion. The event was also graced by the presence of Managing Directors Captain Kirit Sinhji Gohil and Mrs Amar Jyotiba Gohil, whose visionary leadership continues to inspire the entire ASIS family. The Principal, along with the dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff, was also present to join the students in celebrating this momentous occasion.

The programme began with the welcoming of the guests by the NCC Air Wing Cadets, followed by a prayer. The Flag Hoisting and National Anthem marked the solemn and proud start of the celebrations.

The cultural programme showcased the remarkable talent and patriotic spirit of our students through vibrant performances and a meaningful skit on “Freedom – Then vs Now.”

The celebration continued with a delightful dance, Kavita Gaan on “Mera Bharat,” and an energetic skating performance by the students, concluding the programme on a memorable note.

This celebration beautifully reflected the values of freedom, unity, patriotism, and responsible citizenship.

“Freedom is not just a gift from our heroes, but a responsibility to build a better tomorrow.”

With the inspiring spirit of “Unity in Diversity, Strength in Freedom,” ASIS proudly celebrated the nation’s 80th Independence Day.

She shared valuable guidance on *personal hygiene, cleanliness, maintaining an energetic lifestyle, following a proper daily schedule, healthy food* choices, and avoiding *junk food* . She also emphasised the importance of *avoiding late-night habits, following a proper sleep schedule, and getting adequate rest to maintain a healthy and disciplined lifestyle.*

A Science Model Display was organized in our school for students of Grades 5, 6, 7, and 8. The event provided an excellent platform for students to showcase their scientific knowledge, creativity, and innovative ideas.
The students presented their models with great enthusiasm and explored various scientific concepts through their projects. The models were highly creative, innovative, and well-presented, reflecting the students’ hard work and dedication.

We were honoured to have Dr. Hem Bhatt, and Mr. Bimal Bhatt as our esteemed judges. They evaluated the projects thoughtfully and also interacted with the students, explaining various aspects of the models and encouraging them to enhance their scientific understanding.

Parents also visited the exhibition and appreciated the efforts of the students. They were delighted to see the creativity, confidence, and practical application of science displayed through the projects.

The Science Model Display was a great success and encouraged students to develop curiosity, creativity, and a scientific approach towards learning.
