The first batch. The first take-off. A whole new journey ahead✈️

On 14th September, the inaugural batch of the Akasa SkyCadet Programme officially began their journey with Akasa Air and Dunes Aviation Academy. From classroom to the flight deck, this is a journey built on learning, discipline, precision and, of course, a shared love for flying.

But this first batch is about more than being first. They’re setting the tone for everything that comes next.

Today, they begin as Akasa SkyCadets. Tomorrow, they’ll be part of the next generation shaping Indian aviation. Here’s to the first take-off of many!

Today, we celebrate a significant milestone in the journey of Mr. Sandeep Kumar Singh, who has received his AME Licence from DGCA.

His journey reflects what aviation needs more of: skilled technicians transformed into qualified, licensed professionals ready to keep the industry flying.

At Dunes Aviation Academy, our vision goes beyond training. We are committed to developing competent aviation professionals, strengthening India’s technical workforce, and building the skilled manpower that the aviation industry needs for tomorrow.

From learning the craft to earning the licence, building aviation manpower, one engineer at a time.

A year ago, Bhilwara was a vision. Today, it is a thriving centre of aviation excellence.

The journey from land allotment and construction to DGCA approval and operations has been driven by one constant: the ambition to build world-class pilot training in India.

In its first year, Dunes Aviation’s Bhilwara Base has achieved:

50+ CPLs
15,000+ flying hours
30,000+ landings

These numbers represent far more than milestones. They represent pilots trained, careers launched, and countless hours spent building the future of Indian aviation.

One year of Bhilwara. One year of taking aviation forward.

And this is just the beginning.
