🌏 Asia

🌏 ASIA — The Largest Continent on Earth

Asia is the largest continent in both area and population, covering approximately 44.6 million km². It stretches from the Arctic regions of Russia in the north to the tropical islands of Southeast Asia and Indonesia in the south.

🏔️ Highest Point: Mount Everest — 8,848.86 m
🌊 Major Oceans: Arctic Ocean, Pacific Ocean and Indian Ocean
🌍 Major Regions: East Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, West Asia and North Asia
🏳️ Countries: Asia contains around 48 countries, depending on the classification used.
👥 Population: More than half of the world's population lives in Asia.

Asia is home to extraordinary geographical features including the Himalayan Mountains, Gobi Desert, Arabian Desert, Siberian forests, vast plains and thousands of islands. It is also the birthplace of ancient civilizations and a continent of enormous cultural, linguistic and historical diversity.

✨ From the Himalayas to Japan, from Arabia to Indonesia — Asia is a continent of remarkable landscapes, cultures and history.
