ATAL KV Bharatpur

Atal Innovation Mission and Spark Astronomy are organizing Astronomy lectures for ATL students and teachers, it is a set of 7 series of lectures which takes us to a journey of exploration of the universe and give us an understanding of how the universe started and the future of space exploration.

A***n Mishra, 20 years old, an amateur astronomer will be conducting these lectures. He is one of the young people we have in the country who has been doing numerous projects related to science communication. He discovered an asteroid at the age of 14 and currently pursuing his BSc Physics. He founded Spark Astronomy, a start-up which makes affordable Astronomy labs in schools.

The schedule is as follows:
Basics of Stargazing; 30th May at 3:30-4:30 PM IST
Origin of the Universe; 6th June at 3:30-4:30 PM IST
Pluto Has a Heart; 13th June at 3:30-4:30 PM IST
Getting to the Red Planet; 20th June at 3:30-4:30 PM IST
Deep into the Universe; 27th June at 3:30-4:30 PM IST
Getting to Space; 4th July at 3:30-4:30 PM IST
Looking up at the Sky; 11th July at 3:30-4:30 PM IST

The webinar series is a compendium of curated content on various 21st century skills, delivered by experts and content developers from AIM partners. These sessions will foster peer-to-peer learning by allowing a limited classroom size and 2-way interaction with your teacher/facilitator.
