Same cell. Different concentration. Different voltage! ⚡🧪
Why does this happen? The answer is the Nernst Equation.
At 298 K:
E = E° − (0.0591/n) log Q
🔹 E° = Standard cell potential
🔹 n = Number of electrons transferred
🔹 Q = Reaction quotient
🧠 Remember: For a fixed cell reaction and temperature, increasing Q decreases E.
Quick challenge: What happens to E when Q = 1? 👇 Drop your answer in the comments!
