नौगछिया का इतिहास गौरवशाली रहा है और माता का ये भव्य मंदिर इसके इतिहास को और भी गरिमामयी और भव्यशाली बनाता है। इस मंदिर का इतिहास सदियों पुराना है। आज यह भारत भर में नौगछिया की पहचान बना हुआ है। आइये हम सब माता की इस पहचानरूपी प्रसाद को ग्रहण करें और इस पहचान को बरकरार रखने तथा इसे और भी बेहतर बनाने के लिए यथासंभव प्रयास करने का दृढ़ मन से संकल्प ले।
हमारी कामना है कि माँ हम सबकी हरेक मनोकामना को पूर्ण करें और हमारा भविष्य उज्ज्वल हो।

A bridge is being constructed over KOSHI river at Vijay Ghat, Naugachia. It has provided so many opportunities for Naugachian's. Estimated cost of this project is about 360 crores and so many people(like labor and mason ) who works on daily wage basis has got to work there.Now they are being paid everyday by S P Singla construction limited. This project will be completed by 2014 (as estimated ).Not only poor people are getting benefit from this project but inspiring minds of Naugachia and other places who are pursuing their B-TECH/M-TECH/DIPLOMA/POLYTECNIC or any other technical degree they can do INTERNSHIP/PROJECT WORK here. It will be very helpful for their academic career. This bridge will connect Naugachia and Bhagalpur to Kishanganj of Madhepura district.

Muslims in Naugachia welcomes this eve with lots of gaiety at Masjid(mosque). Lots of people gathers at the mosque with spirit of loyalty for the Namaaz in the morning.The whole atmosphere is filled with the resonance of "Allahu-Akbar".
Actually , all festivals of Islam have some religious significance and are occasions to express their gratitude to God. This occasion serves to foster brotherly relationship among members of various communities. A spirit of tolerance, mutual understanding and universal brotherhood pervades such gatherings.

Which side this picture has been taken from???
Actually this is the side view of the temple. Few years back there was a small temple of Maa Durga here. But now, it's not only the biggest temple of this village but it is the 2nd biggest temple of Bihar. It is the result of combined efforts of the villagers of Pakra & Tetri (Pakra &Tetri both are the famous village of Naugachia block).

It is one of the best school
in the Naugachia subdivision & it is just less than 1/2 km away
from market.It was establised in 1937,when we were 10 years behind of our freedom. Around 2000 students of all stream are studying here.It has produced lots of engineers,doctors,MBA's,good bussinessmen and many more,one can say that it has given more than a lot to Naugachian's.
