This art comes from Champaran, a place where the first Satyagraha was started by Mahatma Gandhi. There is a tradition behind it. In the month of Saavan (monsoon), sisters make dolls for their brothers and dip them in the pond and brother brings these dolls back. After that, sisters and brothers eat sweets and show their bond of love.Dolls are made with different materials such as cloth,clay and wood with each material having it's own style.

यह कला चंपारण से आती है, जहां महात्मा गांधी द्वारा पहला सत्याग्रह शुरू किया गया था। इसके पीछे एक परंपरा है। सावन (मानसून) के महीने में, बहनें अपने भाइयों के लिए गुड़िया बनाती हैं और उन्हें तालाब में डुबोती हैं और भाई इन गुड़ियों को वापस लाते हैं। उसके बाद, बहनें और भाई मिठाई खाते हैं और अपने प्यार का बंधन दिखाते हैं।गुड़िया को कपड़े, मिट्टी और लकड़ी जैसी विभिन्न सामग्रियों से बनाया जाता है।

"मिथिला मखान" फिल्म को राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार

#बिहार_के_मैथिली_भाषा में बनाई गई फिल्म "मिथिला मखान" को राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार मिला है। इस फिल्म का निर्देशन नितिन चंद्रा के द्वारा किया गया है। फिल्म में बिहार में बाढ़ और उससे होने वाले त्रासदी को दिखाया गया है। इस में बाढ़ के बाद पलायन के मुद्दे को भी दिखाया गया है।

“The Bhagalpur-based Bamboo Tissue Research Centre is currently producing 1.5 lakh bamboo seedlings. Its capacity will be increased to 3 to 5 lakhs seedlings. The upcoming lab in Araria will have the capacity to produce 8-10 lakh seedlings.
It helps in preventing soil erosion, especially in flood-affected areas. Bamboo produces 30% more oxygen. Farming of bamboo will be promoted in Bhagalpur, Purnia and other regions located near the Kosi.

भागलपुर स्थित बांस ऊतक अनुसंधान केंद्र वर्तमान में 1.5 लाख बांस के पौधे पैदा कर रहा है। इसकी क्षमता बढ़ाकर 3 से 5 लाख रोपाई की जाएगी। अररिया में आगामी लैब में 8-10 लाख रोपाई का उत्पादन करने की क्षमता होगी।
यह मिट्टी के कटाव को रोकने में मदद करता है, खासकर बाढ़ प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में। बांस 30% अधिक ऑक्सीजन का उत्पादन करता है। बाँस की खेती को भागलपुर, पूर्णिया और कोसी के पास स्थित अन्य क्षेत्रों में बढ़ावा दिया जाएगा।
