👉बजट एक प्रकार का अप्रत्यक्ष कर है

👉 बजट समवर्ती सूची का विषय है

👉 बजट का अर्थ: चमड़े का थैला ( भाषा फ्रैंच बुजठ होता है)

बजट:
सरकार की आमदनी & प्रस्तावित योजनाओं पर होने वाले खर्च का विवरण
सरकार की कमाई और खर्च का ब्यौरा
मंत्रालय को उनके खर्च के लिए धनराशि का आवंटन

👉 भारतीय संविधान में बजट शब्द का प्रयोग नहीं किया गया है बल्कि उसके जगह वार्षिक वित्तीय विवरण (Annual Financial statement) का प्रयोग अनुच्छेद 112 में किया गया है

बजट शब्द का प्रयोग सर्वप्रथम 1803 में फ्रांस में किया गया था आय और व्यय का व्यौरा देने के लिए
बजट का प्रयोग इंग्लैंड से प्रारंभ हुआ था
विश्व में सर्वप्रथम बजट लागू करने वाला देश फ्रांस 1954 ईस्वी में

👉 भारतीय बजट व्यवस्था का जनक जेम्स विल्सन को कहा जाता है
👉 भारत में सर्वप्रथम बजट पेश जेंट्स विल्सन ने किया था
18 फरवरी 1860 ईस्वी में ईस्ट इंडिया कंपनी के द्वारा

स्वतंत्र भारत का प्रथम बजट पेश R K शनमुखम चेट्टी 26 नवंबर 1947 ईस्वी में पेश किया था

गणतंत्र भारत का प्रथम बजट जॉन मथाई 28 फरवरी 1950 ईस्वी में पेश किया था

पंडित जवाहरलाल नेहरू ने पहली बार संसद में बजट पेश किया (प्रधानमंत्री रहते हुए)
