August 15, 2025: The 79th Independence Day of India is observed with celebrations in I.G.M. Degree College of Sc. &Tech. Bhadrak.

The day begins with a Prabhat Pheri (morning procession), followed by a flag hoisting ceremony and the distribution of sweets in I.G.M. Degree College of Science & Technology, Sanalpur, Dhusuri, Bhadrak.

Principal Mr. Sunanda Kumar Mohanty hoisted the National Flag followed by the National Anthem. Students and teachers delivered speeches, paying tribute to the sacrifices of our national heroes. At the end the winners of different competitions held on 14/08/2025 were awarded with medals and prizes by the principal. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks offered by Sri Diptiranjan Mohanty, Demonstrator, Chemistry of the college.

Mr. Kishore Kumar Panigrahi Coordinator, Ama Gaurav Ama College organised managed all the events.

August 14, 2025: A bike rally with the tricolour as a part of Har Ghar Tiranga was held at I.G.M. Degree College of Science & Technology, Sanalpur, Dhusuri, Bhadrak. The Rally started from the college campus. Mr. Sunanda Kumar Mohanty, Principal of the college signalled the beginning by waving the tricolor. Around fifty students participated along with most staff members in this rally. Mr. Kishore Kumar Panigrahi, Coordinator AMA Gaurav AMA College guided the students.

Competition on the theme of patriotism werheld for students. And a debate competition on the theme of patriotism was conducted. The three winners of this competition will be awarded during the celebration of the 79th Independence Day in the college.

Student volunteers like Ganesh Sahoo, Om Prakash Mohanty and Subhashree Panigrahi and others made the programme successful with their sincere cooperation.
