Under the able guidance of our respected Principal Sr. Jacintha, a Fire Department Mock Drill was successfully conducted at Mary Immaculate School for our students by the Fire Department personnel.

The department personnel sensitized students on fire safety measures, emergency evacuation procedures, and demonstrated the proper use of fire extinguishers. Students participated actively and learned the importance of preparedness and discipline during emergencies.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Fire Department personnel for their valuable guidance and support in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students.

With immense joy and enthusiasm, Mary Immaculate School successfully celebrated its Annual Sports Meet 2025–26, a vibrant day filled with energy, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

The occasion was honoured by the gracious presence of our Chief Guest, Shri Jayanta Halder, District Inspector of Schools (Secondary Education), Murshidabad, whose inspiring words motivated our young athletes to strive for excellence.

We were privileged to have Sr. Malabika Mondol, General Councillor for Education, as our Guest of Honour, along with our Special Guests:

✨ Sr. Jiwanti SMI, Provincial Councillor

The meet began with a solemn Inaugural Ceremony, including the March Past, School Flag Hoisting, Lighting of the Torch, Sports Promise, and the formal declaration of the Sports Meet open by our Chief Guest.
From thrilling individual track and field events to exciting inter-house group competitions, our students showcased remarkable zeal, determination, and team spirit. The electrifying Tug-of-War, spirited relays, and joyful events brought cheer and applause from all.

The celebrations continued with a colourful Christmas Carnival, spreading joy and festive cheer. The day concluded with the distribution of awards to academic achievers, inter-house trophies, a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, the National Anthem, and the formal closing of the Sports Meet.

A heartfelt appreciation to our Superior Sister Lalitha, our Principal, Sister Jacintha, our vice principal Sr.Nimmy all sisters, teachers, students, and support staff for making this grand event a memorable success.

Today, we bid goodbye to our dearest Ma’am Shilpi, our beloved English teacher β€” a mentor, guide, and friend to all. πŸ’–

Organized with love by Sr. Lalitha our Sr.Superior, Sr. Jacintha our Principal, Sr. Nimmy Rose our Vice Principal, along with all the teachers and students, the farewell was a tribute to a teacher whose presence has been truly special.

Ma’am Shilpi is the most loved β€” her kindness, her smile, her teaching, her everything is incomparable. ✨ She touches every heart with her warmth and continues to inspire everyone with her dedication and grace.

🏦 Field Survey on Banking and Accounting

The students of Classes 9 and 10 (Commercial Applications) of Mary Immaculate School visited the State Bank of India, Khagra Branch as part of their Project Field Survey on Banking and Accounting.

Under the guidance of their teachers, students had the opportunity to witness the real-world applications of the concepts they learned in their textbooks. They participated proactively, gaining valuable insights into how banking and accounting functions operate in practice.

A special thanks to Sr. Jacintha, Principal, for organising and encouraging this educational field survey.

Our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Asish Sarkar (Branch Manager) for his warm cooperation, Ms. Shreya Bhattacharya(Senior Associate) for facilitating the visit, and Mr. Probir Saha (Senior Associate) for his informative demonstration and guidance throughout the session.
