KLS Gogte Institute of Technology, Belagavi, proudly congratulates its students for their outstanding achievements at the National Level Manipal Revels Cup 2026 (Swimming) and the State Level Best Physique Competition held in Belagavi. Our talented swimmers delivered remarkable performances at Revels Cup – Manipal Fest 2026, winning multiple individual and relay medals and bringing immense pride to the institution. 🏊‍♂️🥇

Krizana Irani secured an incredible 6 Gold Medals 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇, while Ajinkya Sungar and Swayam Karekar each clinched 5 Gold and 1 Silver Medal 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥈.

Yash Havalanche earned Gold in the Men’s Medley Relay 🥇, and Anuj secured 1 Gold and 2 Bronze Medals across relay and backstroke events 🥇🥉🥉, showcasing exceptional sporting excellence. 💪🔥

Adding to the celebrations, Mr. Om Vijay Patil delivered an impressive performance in the Best Physique (Men) category at the Inter-Collegiate State Level Best Physique Tournament – (Muscle Monarch), organized by KLE Technological University, Belagavi. 🏋️‍♂️🏆

KLS Gogte Institute of Technology (GIT), Belagavi proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of its alumnus Mr. Kiran Kamate (BE Civil, 2018), who has cleared the upsc Civil Services Examination 2025 with an outstanding All India Rank 53. 🌟

Hailing from Chikodi Taluk in Belagavi district, Kiran completed his schooling and PU in North Karnataka before pursuing Civil Engineering at KLS GIT. After graduation, he served as an Assistant Engineer in the Public Works Department, Karnataka, in the Bengaluru region while consistently preparing for UPSC.

His dedication and perseverance have now earned him a top national rank, making him the top performer from Karnataka this year. With AIR 53, he becomes eligible for prestigious services such as IAS, IFS, and IPS. 🏛️

🚧✨ Bengaluru Industrial Visit by Civil Engineering Students ✨🚧

The Department of Civil Engineering, KLS Gogte Institute of Technology, Belagavi, organized a two-day Industrial Visit to Bengaluru on 25th & 26th February 2026 for 3rd Year students, accompanied by Prof. Somanath Khot and Dr. Uma Hullur.

Students gained valuable industry exposure through visits to fosroc Experiential Center, Aditya Engineers And Consultant's, and the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited Underground Metro Project executed by Afcons Infrastructure Limited ( A Shapoorji Pallonji Group Co. ).

KLS Gogte Institute of Technology, Belagavi successfully hosted its Bengaluru Alumni Meet 2026 on 28 Feb 2026, bringing together 250+ alumni from batches 1984–2021 for an evening of nostalgia, networking, and pride. 🤝💫

The event was graced by insightful addresses from key dignitaries who reflected on the institute’s legacy and future vision. Dr. Anupama Awati, Coordinator, Alumni Relations Cell, warmly welcomed the alumni and highlighted their crucial role in mentoring students and strengthening the KLS GIT ecosystem.

Dr. M. S. Patil, Principal, KLS GIT, presented an overview of the institute’s journey since 1979, emphasizing academic milestones, infrastructure growth, research, and innovation.

Shri. Pradeep Sawkar, President, Karnataka Law Society, spoke on deepening industry–academia collaboration, while Shri. Rajendra Belgaumkar, Chairman, Governing Council, highlighted the institute’s focus on emerging technologies and skill development.

KLS Gogte Institute of Technology (KLS GIT), in collaboration with Dr. Sathe’s Aarogya Mitra Foundation, Belagavi, successfully organized an insightful awareness session titled “Healthy Connections: Understanding Consent, Respect, Safety & Emotional Well-Being” on 25th February 2026 as part of the Induction Program for UG first-year students. 🌿✨

The initiative aimed to educate and empower students with a deeper understanding of consent, mutual respect, personal safety, and emotional well-being in relationships, fostering a healthy, safe, and supportive campus environment. 💙

The session was led by Dr. Bheemsain Tekkalaki, Psychiatrist at KLES Dr. Prabhakar Kore Hospital and Medical Research Center, Belagavi, who shared valuable insights on emotional health and responsible relationship practices. Ms. Vedanti Godbole, Consulting Psychologist, addressed the students and highlighted the importance of consent, personal boundaries, and safety in building respectful and healthy relationships. 🧠

Dr. Varsha Sathe, Dental Surgeon and Founder of Aarogya Mitra Foundation, coordinated the session and guided students on integrating healthy relationship practices into daily life. 🌸
