Angadi international school Belagavi conducted Awareness Program on
POCSO Act ๐ŸŒฟ
On7th March students of Grades 8, 9, and 10 had the privilege of attending an important awareness session on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012. We were honored to have Advocate Nitin Gangai, a dedicated legal professional from Belagavi, who enlightened our students about the significance of child protection laws and the importance of awareness and responsibility in society.
The session helped students understand their rights, safety, and the legal framework designed to protect children from abuse and exploitation.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our respected Principal Prof. Sangeeta Desai for warmly welcoming our guest with a sapling as a mark of respect and appreciation. ๐ŸŒฑ
Such programs play a vital role in empowering young minds with knowledge and awareness.

National Science Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 28th February at Angadi International School by the students of Grades VI, VII and VIII. The day marks the discovery of the Raman Effect by the great Indian scientist C. V. Raman, inspiring young minds to develop scientific thinking and curiosity.

The celebration highlighted the importance of science in our daily lives and its role in shaping the future. Students expressed their views on various branches of science such as Physics, which helps us understand energy and motion; Chemistry, which explains reactions that happens in our day today life in our surroundings and Biology, which studies living organisms and life processes. They also spoke about modern advancements in Artificial Intelligence, Technology, and Space Science, emphasizing how innovations are transforming communication and space exploration.

The event featured creative presentations and small experiments conducted by students in the form of skit. Simple yet fascinating demonstrations like Elephant toothpaste, Fake Ice, electric circuits, and Natural indicators showcased their scientific skills and practical knowledge. These activities encouraged observation, questioning, and problem-solving abilities among students.

Overall, National Science Day was a meaningful and inspiring celebration that nurtured curiosity, creativity, and a scientific temper among young learners. It motivated students to explore, experiment, and contribute towards a brighter and more innovative future..

ISRO: U R RAO Satellite Centre Visit by SAEFโ€™s Angadi International School Students.
One more Remarkable milestone is achieved by the SAEFโ€™s Angadi International School Students.
ISRO- where Indiaโ€™s space dreams take flight and meet determination , dedication and success.

It was truly a dream come true moment for the Grade IX students of Angadi International School on 20/02/2026 when they stepped into ISRO- a place of testament to India's capabilities in space technology and innovation.
The visit aimed to provide students with a firsthand experience of ISRO's work in space technology and research.
Students interacted with ISRO scientist Dr. Umavati who has an immense 34 years of experience in ISRO as a Senior Scientist and was a phenomenal part of numerous Space projects like INSAT/ GSAT , Chandrayaan lunar series, the Aditya-L1 solar observatory, the Mangalyaan Mars orbiter, SPADEX docking experiment,and the ambitious Gaganyaan human spaceflight program.
They witnessed the assembly and testing of satellite components and learned about ISRO's role in space exploration.
The visit included a tour of ISRO's facilities, showcasing cutting-edge technology and innovation.
Students asked questions and shared their experiences, sparking interest in space science and technology.

The experience is expected to inspire and motivate students to pursue careers in STEM fields, contributing to India's growth in space exploration and innovation.
The visit emphasized the importance of teamwork, innovation, and dedication in achieving space exploration goals.

Students expressed enthusiasm and appreciation for the experience, citing it as a "life-changing" opportunity.
Students gained a deeper understanding of ISRO's contributions to India's space program and its impact on society.

The passion of the students was evidenced and fostered by the teachers of the School Mrs. Bharati Patil - HOD SCIENCE Dept.
Mrs. Sandhya Shanbhag- HOD KANNADA Dept. and Mr. Kiran Dalawai(Art Teacher) by managing and guiding the whole trip.
This visit became a grand success due the support of Principal of AIS Prof. Sangeeta Desai maโ€™am who is always a supporting system and organiser of such great expedition.
The Chairman of SAEF Mrs . Mangal Angadi maโ€™am , Director Dr. Spoorti Angadi Patil maโ€™am and Administrator Mr. Raju Joshi sir and all the staff of AIS congratulated the whole team of students and teachers for the successful completion of the ISRO visit.

The event was graced by the presence of our respected SAEF, Administrator, Shri Raju Joshiji; Principal and Director of AITM, Dr. Anand Deshpande; and Principal of Angadi International School, Professor Sangeeta Desai. The Management and the Principal expressed heartfelt appreciation to the delegation for their gracious visit and for inspiring our young learners.

The programme commenced on a serene note with a soulful Invocation Song, invoking blessings for the success of the event.It was gracefully compered by the confident and articulate Masters of Ceremony, Grade 9 students Unnati Ramchandani and Suma Hiremath

Mrs. Rajeshwari Reddy, HOD of the English Department, delivered the Welcome Address, warmly greeting the delegates and emphasizing the importance of global educational partnerships.

The esteemed guests were formally introduced by Mrs. Monica Wilson, Cultural Coordinator, who highlighted the significance of their visit and their contributions.

Mrs. Rupali Hiremath, ATL Coordinator, proposed the Vote of Thanks, conveying sincere gratitude to the dignitaries for their valuable presence and encouragement.

The formal function was followed by an engaging Project Presentation session, where students showcased innovative, sustainable, and technology-driven ideas. The delegates keenly interacted with the young innovators and appreciated the creativity, confidence, and research-oriented approach demonstrated by our students.

The visit was truly a proud and inspiring moment for our institution, strengthening international bonds and motivating our learners to think globally while staying rooted in values.
