Har Ghar Tiranga โ€“ Celebrating the Spirit of Patriotism
The spirit of patriotism beautifully filled the air at Angadi International School as our little learners celebrated Independence Day 2026 with immense joy, pride and enthusiasm. ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณโœจ
As part of the โ€œHar Ghar Tirangaโ€ initiative, our little patriots came dressed in beautiful white outfits with tricolour dupattas, creating a vibrant and proud display of the colours of our nation. โค๏ธ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’š
Our Nursery children created colourful tricolour palm print artwork, while our LKG children made beautiful tricolour fans. ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ
Our UKG children also created a special tricolour palm-print activity, painting their palms in saffron, white and green and proudly displaying their creative expressions of love for India. ๐Ÿ–๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ
The children also participated in a meaningful Flag Respect Activity, holding the National Flag with pride and learning the importance of respecting our Tiranga. They proudly held messages expressing โ€œI am proud to be an Indian!โ€ and confidently shared their love for our motherland. โค๏ธ
Through the Har Ghar Tiranga spirit, our little ones learnt that the Tiranga is a symbol of our freedom, unity, pride and national identity. Their tiny hands, bright smiles and proud voices made the celebration truly heartwarming.

Angadi International School proudly observed the โ€œHar Ghar Tiranga โ€“ Har Dil Tirangaโ€ campaign with immense patriotic fervour, commemorating 150 years of the National Song, Vande Mataram.

The celebration came alive with a vibrant patriotic rally with the National Flag, melodious patriotic songs, and a powerful patriotic drama presented by our talented students. The event echoed the timeless spirit of patriotism, unity, and love for our motherland.

The Tricolour fluttered with pride, while the soulful rendition of Vande Mataram reminded everyone of our rich national heritage and the sacrifices that shaped our nation.

With hearts filled with pride and the spirit of patriotism, Angadi International School celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and fervour. The celebration beautifully reflected the values of freedom, unity, sacrifice and love for our nation.

The programme commenced with the formal flag-hoisting ceremony, followed by the National Anthem, filling the campus with a profound sense of pride and respect for our Motherland. ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ

The students then brought the spirit of India alive through a vibrant cultural extravaganza featuring patriotic speeches, inspiring skits, graceful dances and powerful dance dramas. Each performance echoed the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and reminded us of our responsibility towards building a stronger, united and progressive India.

As part of its commitment to fostering creativity and experiential learning, Angadi International School successfully organised a "Product Photography Competition" for the students of Grade IX on 18th July 2026.

The competition provided a platform for students to demonstrate their creativity, technical skills, and artistic vision through innovative product photography. Participants displayed exceptional talent in composition, lighting, presentation, and visual storytelling, reflecting their keen observation and creative thinking.

The event was honoured by the presence of Mr. Harish Garag, an eminent photographer and a distinguished member of the Karnataka State Photojournalists Association, who served as the esteemed judge for the competition. His expert evaluation, constructive feedback, and valuable insights inspired the participants and enriched their learning experience.

On the birth anniversary of Dr. S. R. Ranganathan, the Father of Library Science in India, a solemn commemorative programme was organized at the school library.

The programme began with the arrival of the Honourable Principal, who paid tribute to Dr. Ranganathanโ€™s invaluable contribution to library science by performing a traditional Pooja and offering floral garlands to his portrait.

The occasion served as a meaningful reminder of his enduring legacy and his vision of libraries as gateways to knowledge and learning.

Our little ones had a fun-filled and joyful Rainy Day Celebration, bringing the magic, excitement and freshness of the monsoon season alive at school! ๐ŸŒง๏ธ๐Ÿ’™
The school was beautifully decorated with colourful Monsoon Stalls, featuring delicious rainy-day favourites like ๐ŸŒฝ boiled corn, roasted corn, bhadang, chana chaat and popcorn. ๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ˜‹
The children also enjoyed exploring the Umbrella & Raincoat Shop, learning about the useful things we need during the rainy season. โ˜‚๏ธ๐Ÿงฅ๐ŸŒง๏ธ

The Social Science Department of Angadi International School successfully conducted an engaging and thought-provoking Seminar Competition for Grade 9 students on the topics:
๐Ÿ”น Cultural Diversity in India: Unity in Diversity
๐Ÿ”น Impact of Social Media on Teenagers' Mental Health
The competition provided an excellent platform for students to showcase their research, communication skills, and analytical thinking while addressing significant social issues relevant to today's world.
Through insightful presentations, students highlighted India's rich cultural heritage and the importance of harmony amidst diversity, while also examining the opportunities and challenges that social media presents to the mental well-being of teenagers.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our respected Principal, Mrs. Sangeeta Desai Ma'am, for her constant encouragement and support. Our sincere appreciation goes to the esteemed judges, Mrs. Sneha Murari Ma'am and Prof. Nilambhika Shetti, for their valuable insights and fair evaluation.
