The Center for Intelligent Solutions for Healthcare Applications (C-ISHA) at KLE Technological University, Belagavi, inaugurated a Faculty Development Programme on “Next-Generation Biomedical Signal and Image Analysis for Clinical Decision Support” on April 21, 2026. The FDP is being conducted from April 21 to 25, 2026.

C-ISHA focuses on advancing healthcare through biomedical signal processing, medical imaging, and AI-based clinical decision support systems.

Dr. Hari Balan, Senior Scientist at United Imaging Healthcare, attended as Chief Guest. Guests of Honour Dr. Rajesh S. Powar, Principal, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Belagavi, and Dr. Meena S. M., Dean, School of CSE, KLE Technological University, Hubballi, addressed the gathering.

Dr. S. F. Patil, Principal, KLE Technological University, presided over the function. The event also marked the launch of the C-ISHA STAR Lab. Dr. Dattaprasad Torse, Dr. Rajashri Khanai, and Dr. Manisha Tapale graced the occasion.

The FDP is coordinated by Dr. Swati Mavinkattimath, Dr. Salma Shahapur, Dr. Priyanka Gavade, and Mr. Amey Muchandi.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at KLE Technological University's Dr. M. S. Sheshgiri Campus successfully organized Resonance 2.0 on the 16th and 17th of April 2026. Held in prestigious association with CNEST TBI 2.0 (Dept. of IT-BT, Govt. of Karnataka), the event drew over 340+ participants from across Karnataka and neighboring states. The program featured Transistron, a "pure circuit-based" Hardware Hackathon, and Spinovate, a premier poster presentation contest.

The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. Satigouda Patil (Director, Tessolve Semiconductors) and Mr. Sunil Shambhtnavar (CEO, Advance Electronic Systems). Under the leadership of Principal Dr. S. F. Patil, HOD Dr. D. A. Torse, and Faculty Convener Dr. Vijay Rayar, students tackled real-world industrial need statements. A distinguished panel of alumni currently working at Synopsys, Karmic Semiconductors, QuntmCIk, and Enerzi Microwave Systems served as judges and mentors.

The valedictory function was graced by Mr. Hrishikesh Kamat, CEO, Shalaka Connected Devices, Pune. The event successfully bridged the gap between academic learning and industrial application, fostering a spirit of innovation among young engineers

🦷 Dental Camp 2026 – A Successful Initiative!

The Dental Health Awareness Camp organized by the Community Development Club at KLE Technological University, Dr. M. S. Sheshgiri Campus, Belagavi, in association with KLE VKIDS, was successfully conducted on April 9th, 2026.

With active participation from students, staff, and workers, the camp provided valuable dental check-ups, consultations, and awareness on oral hygiene.
