The Department of MBA, AITM successfully organized a Student Development Program on LinkedIn Profile Building on 08th May, 2026. The session was conducted by Mr. Suhas Rajput, HR Trainer & Recruiter at Proficient Minds, Belagavi.

The program provided students with valuable insights into creating impactful LinkedIn profiles, building professional networks, and enhancing career opportunities in today’s competitive job market.

Dr. Kiran Potadar Inspires Young Achievers at Pratibha Puraskar Samarambha 2025-26

Dr. Kiran Potadar, Head of the Department of Mathematics at Angadi Institute of Technology and Management, was invited as the Chief Guest for the Pratibha Puraskar Samarambha 2025-26 organized by the District Vishwakarma Vidya Vardhak Sangh on 09 May 2026 at the District Vishwakarma Community Hall, Belagavi.

The programme was organized to honor meritorious students from across Belagavi District who secured more than 90% marks in SSLC and PUC examinations. During the event, Dr. Kiran Potadar inspired students, parents, and the gathering with his motivational address emphasizing the importance of education, discipline, dedication, and continuous learning. He encouraged students to pursue excellence in academics and contribute meaningfully to society and the nation.

On this occasion, Dr. Kiran Potadar was felicitated by the Sangh in recognition of his valuable contribution to education, academic leadership, and student welfare activities.

Parents-Teacher Meeting !!

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AI & DS), Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), successfully conducted the Parents-Teacher Meeting on May 09, 2026.

The session began with a warm welcome by Prof. Sagar Birje, Head of the Department, who highlighted the department’s vision, mission, and ongoing academic initiatives. The meeting showcased the remarkable achievements of students and faculty members in hackathons, technical competitions, research publications, and various co-curricular activities.

Faculty members interacted with parents and discussed the academic performance of students, emphasizing both strengths and areas for improvement. Information regarding placement activities, internship opportunities, skill development programs, and industry collaborations was also shared to support students’ career growth and future opportunities.

The meeting provided a valuable platform for open interaction between parents and faculty members, encouraging constructive feedback and collaborative efforts towards the holistic development of students.

AITM MBA FIESTA 2K26 – A Two-Day Mega National Level Management Fest for UG Students

The Department of Management Studies at Angadi Institute of Technology and Management successfully organized AITM MBA FIESTA 2K26, a two-day Mega National Level Management Fest for undergraduate students. The fest aimed to provide a vibrant platform for students from various streams to unleash and exhibit their managerial abilities, teamwork, creativity, and leadership qualities. The event featured a wide range of exciting and competitive activities including Brainy Fiesta, Market-O- Fiesta, Entrepreneur Fiesta, Poster - O - Fiesta, Capture Fiesta, Battle Zone Fiesta, Fashion Fiesta and Dance Fiesta, which became the major attractions of the fest.

The program commenced with an Inauguration Function held in the gracious presence of Dr. Anand Deshpande, Principal & Director of AITM, Dr. Suryakumar N Khanai, Director of Department of MBA at AITM and Mr. Roshan Patil, Alumni of AITM along with faculty members, students and participants from various colleges. The program witnessed an overwhelming response from students representing various colleges across the region, making the event a grand success.

The Valedictory Function and Prize Distribution Ceremony of AITM MBA FIESTA 2K26 was held at the AITM Auditorium in the gracious presence of Dr. Prashant Katakol, Founder of The Kaivalyam, as the Chief Guest.

Dr. Suryakumar Khanai, Director, MBA addressed the gathering during Valedictory Function and generously imparted his wisdom to the students. He motivated them to continue striving for excellence and concluded by wishing them happiness and success in all their future endeavours.

The winners of all the events were felicitated with trophies and certificates in recognition of their outstanding performances.

The Men’s Kabaddi Team of Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Belagavi, has secured the Runners-up Position (2nd Place) in the VTU Belagavi Division Intercollegiate Kabaddi Men Tournament 2026 held at JTCE, Gadag.

The team showcased outstanding teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament, bringing pride and recognition to our institute.

We are delighted to share that the successful conduct of HackHive-2K26, a National Level Hackathon organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at AITM, has been featured in the newspaper. The event brought together passionate innovators, coders, and tech enthusiasts from various institutions, creating an inspiring platform for creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving.

Centered around the theme “Intellifusion”, HackHive-2K26 showcased remarkable projects in the domains of AI/ML, Web & App Development, Embedded Systems, and Internet of Things (IoT). The 24-hour hackathon witnessed enthusiastic participation, innovative ideas, and exceptional technical talent from students across the country.

Valedictory Function of HACKHIVE-2K26 !!

The valedictory ceremony of HACKHIVE-2K26 was successfully conducted on 7th May 2026 by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Angadi Institute of Technology and Management, in association with the IEEE and ACM Student Chapters. The event marked the successful culmination of a vibrant 24-hour national-level hackathon that celebrated innovation, teamwork, and technological creativity.

HACKHIVE-2K26 featured exciting domains such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML), Web and App Development, and Hardware Design, providing a dynamic platform for student innovators to address real-world challenges through creative technological solutions. Participants demonstrated exceptional enthusiasm, technical expertise, and collaborative spirit throughout the event.

The hackathon received an overwhelming response, with participation from 110 teams comprising nearly 415 students from Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Goa. Students represented several educational hubs including Bengaluru, Hubballi-Dharwad, Gadag, Davangere, Raichur, and Kolhapur.
The projects were evaluated through multiple rounds by judges from both industry and academia.

The judging panel for the Hardware category included Mr. Akshay Hajeri, Staff Engineer, Vayavya Labs Pvt. Ltd, Belagavi and Dr. G. R. Udupi, Dept. of ECE, AITM. The Software (Web/App Development) category was evaluated by Prof. Sudhendra Deshpande, Professor & HOD, AMBIT, Belagavi, Prof. Gautam D, Dept. of CSE, AITM, Prof. Mahantesh Laddi, Asso. Prof. Dept. of CSE, AMBIT, Belagavi, Prof. Vaibhav Chavan, Asst. Prof. Dept. of IS, KLS GIT, Belagavi, Mr. Gajendra Deshpande, CEO, Theta Dynamics Pvt. Ltd and Prof. Sagar Birje, Dept. of AI & DS, AITM. The Software (AI/ML) category judges included Mr. Aditya S. Prabhu, Architect, Confluent, USA and Prof. Aijaz Qazi, Dept. of AI & DS, AITM.

During the valedictory function, the winning teams were announced and honored with prizes, certificates, and mementos. The judges highly appreciated the innovative ideas, practical implementations, and competitive spirit displayed by the participants.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sriram Kulkarni, Head of the Department of ECE, expressed sincere gratitude to all participants, mentors, judges, sponsors, faculty coordinators, and organizing committee members for making HACKHIVE-2K26 a grand success.

The Department of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AI & DS) organized an insightful session on “Emerging Technologies: AI, Machine Learning & the Future of Software Engineering” on 07/05/2026. The session was delivered by Mohammed Shaheed R Maniyar, Founder of AZDeploy Academy and a Senior Full Stack Developer with over 8 years of industry experience. The session provided students with a clear understanding of the latest advancements in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Generative AI, along with their real-world applications and emerging career opportunities.

Students also gained valuable insights into how these technologies are transforming the software industry and the essential skills required to stay relevant and succeed in today’s competitive job market. The session was highly informative and inspired students to explore future technologies and industry trends.

Hackhive 2K26 !!

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Belagavi in association with IEEE and ACM Student Chapter successfully Inaugurated HackHive 2K26, a 24-hour National Level Hackathon, on 6th May 2026.
The event began with the traditional lighting of the lamp and a warm welcome to dignitaries, mentors, judges, and participants. Dr. Sriram Kulkarni, HoD, Department of ECE, welcomed the gathering and briefed everyone about the vision and objectives of HackHive 2K26.

Chief Guest Mr. Mahesh Inamdar, CEO of Akash Forming Technologies, Belagavi, addressed the students on the importance of bridging academics with industry requirements. He highlighted how hackathons provide hands-on learning, enhance employability, and encourage innovation and startup culture.

In his presidential remarks, Prof. G. R. Udupi inspired students to focus on creativity and innovation, emphasizing that failures are stepping stones to success.

The hackathon witnessed an overwhelming participation of 110 teams comprising 415 students from Karnataka, Maharashtra, Goa, and various educational hubs including Bengaluru, Hubli-Dharwad, Gadag, Davangere, Raichur, and Kolhapur.

Throughout the 24-hour event, judges and mentors continuously guided and evaluated the participants, making the hackathon a highly productive and enriching experience.

Mr. Omkar Patil, Faculty, AITM successfully participated in the TCS World 10K event held in Bangalore on 26th April 2026.

He completed the 10 km run in an impressive time of 58 minutes, showcasing great endurance, discipline, and determination.
