The Paulite Link

The Paulite Link The Paulite Link is an Alumni Magazine of St. Paul's High School (Belgaum, India). It is a magazine of the Alumni, by the Alumni and for the Alumni.

The Aim and Motto of the "Paulite Link," is linking Paulites across the globe. The Paulite Link (PL) owes its existence to Mr. Orlando Oliveira aka Ollie. Ollie was a passionate Paulite of the 1953 batch. The PL was his brainchild and he, along with his team consisting of George Coelho (1954), Cmde. Medioma Bhada (1956), Albert Dsouza (1949), Morris Vaz (1965), Desmond Tauro (1962), Anthony Dennis

(1956) and others, brought the first issue into existence in 2007 from Bombay. The December 2007 issue was the first. After Ollie re-located to Goa, almost by default, George Coelho took over the reins of the magazine. The team of our seniors did a great job in sustaining the PL – running it on a shoe string budget, at the same time catering to requirements of the alumni magazine that it is. They worked from their home / office desks and their dining tables (to arrange the articles in order.) A bloodless coup happened on 8 September, 2012...The PL team represented by George Coelho, Cmde. Medioma Bhada and Dinky Tauro returned to the Alma mater to hand over the magazine to St. Paul's High school. Like all 5 year old kids, the PL too, in its 5th year came to school. Today, the magazine is currently being guided under the able hands of its Publisher, the Principal. The editorial team is led by S. Imran, Praveen Kulkarni, Raj Belgaumkar, Aslam Sait, Jean Rebello (Teacher) and Deepak Pillay.
