Day 4 at FDP,
As part of our Faculty Development Program, we hosted Mr. Veeresh Ambe (Founder & Director) and Dr. Sushant Mutagekar (Founder – Battery Learning Hub) for power-packed sessions on Sensor Fusion in AVs, AI-Driven Driver & Risk Analytics, LiDAR–RADAR–Camera Integration, Real-Time Decision Making, Research Integration in Teaching, and Trends in Mobility & AI.

Day 3 at FDP

We concluded a successful FDP with Mr. Ajay Kabadi, CEO of DocketRun Tech Pvt. Ltd., on AI-driven mobility and simulation technologies. Key topics included AV simulation with CARLA & NVIDIA DRIVE, perception modules using Generative AI, edge AI with NVIDIA Jetson, Intel RealSense cameras, and robotics integration. The sessions provided hands-on tools and insights for AI & Robotics certifications.

🚀 Day 2 of FDP on AI in Intelligent Transport Systems – Session & Industry Visit Highlights

As part of the AICTE-ATAL Faculty Development Program, we hosted Mr. Ajay Kabadi, Founder & CEO of DocketRun Tech Pvt. Ltd., for an immersive session on AI-driven mobility and simulation technologies. Key takeaways included CARLA & NVIDIA DRIVE for traffic management, generative AI in AV perception modules, NVIDIA Jetson platforms, Intel RealSense depth cameras, and hands-on AV pipeline implementation.

Participants also visited the Government Tool Room & Training Centre (GTTC), Belagavi, gaining practical exposure to robotic arms, 3D printing, CNC automation, and the integration of AI & automation in modern manufacturing.

💡 These experiences bridged theory and practice, offering critical insights into the future of autonomous vehicles, robotics, and smart manufacturing.

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, in collaboration with the Centre for Intelligent Mobility (CIM) Lab, KLE Technological University, Hubballi, inaugurated a One-Week (4th to 9th August 2025)AICTE-ATAL Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Application of Artificial Intelligence in Intelligent Transport System on 4th August 2025.It focuses on the applications of Artificial Intelligence in Intelligent Transport Systems. The program aims to enhance faculty knowledge in AI-driven traffic management, autonomous mobility, and predictive analytics.It helps the participants to gain hands-on insights, exposure to real-world use cases, and tools to innovate in future transportation systems.
Chief Guest Mr. Suresh Kamate, Strategic Sales Manager – Automotive, NI (now part of Emerson), spoke on the growing role of AI in revolutionizing intelligent transport and the opportunities for Indian innovators. Guest of Honour Dr. Nalini Iyer, Dean, School of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, KLE Tech Hubballi, highlighted research prospects and academia–industry collaboration.She also emphasized on the STAR labs present in KLE Technological University,Hubballi campus
Principal Dr. S. F. Patil stressed the importance of faculty upskilling to lead advancements in mobility solutions.
HoD Dr. Dattaprasad Torse welcomed the gathering. Coordinator Dr. Arun S. Tigadi outlined the FDP objectives and sessions. Dr. Rudrappa B. Gujanatti delivered the vote of thanks.
The FDP continues with expert talks, technical sessions, and hands-on workshops for faculty nationwide.

AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy -Sponsored Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on *”Applications of AI in Intelligent Transport Systems”* Organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering KLE Technological University – Dr. M.S. Sheshgiri Campus, Belagavi. Scheduled to be held from 4th to 9th August 2025. This week-long FDP will bring together faculty members, researchers, and industry professionals from across the region to engage in immersive learning and hands-on training on the latest trends in Applications of AI in ITS. The College Principal and FDP Coordinators cordially invite faculty members, research scholars, and industry professionals from nearby institutions to actively participate and benefit from this enriching academic endeavor.
