TFC Dominates the ring: 9 Medals at Karnataka State Sub Junior Boxing Championship 2025!

Our debut boxers delivered a stellar performance at the 4th Sub Junior Boys & Girls Karnataka State Boxing Championship 2025, held at Kanteerava Stadium, Bangalore, bringing home 9 medals and cementing their place among the state's finest.

Jai Birje and Bhumika Kiroji, who played powerful bouts, knocked out top contenders from Bengaluru to claim their Gold medals.

Their grit and dominance in the ring were a true display of Belgaum’s rising boxing power.

In a thrilling showcase of boxing prowess, the Karnataka State Level Boxing Championship was held at JaiPrakash Narayan Youth Stadium, Bangalore, from December 23 to 25. The athletes from TFC Belgaum have emerged triumphant, securing an impressive six medals out of the eight contenders.

Here's a breakdown of their stellar achievements:

Manthan Fagare (60–63): 🥇 Gold

Manthan emerged as the undisputed champion in his weight category, delivering a gold-winning performance that set the ring ablaze. He defeated his opponent (Bangalore) by RSC-1 in the first round. In his 5-year journey, he has won three state medals and also represented Karnataka in the recent Junior National Championship, which was held in Bihar.

Sujitha Thakur (60–63): 🥇 Gold

Sujitha Thakur's golden triumph illuminated the ring, showcasing her prowess and determination in securing the top spot. Her journey began just six months ago, when her father (an Army officer) ignited the spark of this sport in her and asked her to pick up this sport.

Adarsh Patil (46-49): 🥇Gold 

The sub-junior category witnessed the rise of Adarsh Patil, who clinched gold with skillful moves and an unbeatable spirit. Adarsh, with his golden debut, has ensured he has a long way to go!

Yanvi Porwal (60–63): 🥈 Silver

Yanvi Porwal's silver-winning performance in the youth women's category reflects her exceptional talent and dedication.

Anju Ladasmar (44–46): 🥉 Bronze

Anju Ladasmar displayed courage and finesse, earning a well-deserved bronze and making her mark in the highly competitive arena.
 
Hitesh Dewasi (40–43): 🥉 Bronze
In a gritty performance that showcased skill and tenacity, Hitesh Dewasi secured a well-deserved bronze, proving that every punch counted.
