From reusable rockets to a growing network of satellites, SpaceX continues to redefine what's possible in spaceflight.

This week, the company successfully launched 24 more Starlink satellites into orbit, further expanding its mission to provide global internet connectivity. The launch also marked another impressive milestone for Falcon 9 reusability, with the booster completing its 34th flight.

With more than 10,600 Starlink satellites now in orbit, the scale of humanity's presence in space continues to grow-one launch at a time.

On 3 June 2026, our Sun reminded us of its incredible power when Active Region AR 4455 unleashed three major solar flares within just 12 hours, including a powerful X1-class flare. These intense eruptions triggered temporary radio blackouts in parts of the world and launched streams of charged particles toward Earth.

As these solar storms interact with Earth’s magnetic field, they may produce spectacular auroral displays, allowing the Northern and Southern Lights to be visible in regions farther from the poles than usual.

This event highlights the dynamic and ever-changing nature of our nearest star and emphasizes the importance of space weather monitoring for protecting satellites, communication systems, and power infrastructure on Earth.
