A special guest session on “Managing Wildlife Photography” was organized at KLS IMER (Autonomous), Belagavi on 09 March 2026 for MBA students and staff. The session was delivered by Kiran N. Kulkarni, Former GM (Marketing), DCM Shriram Ltd., who shared insights on passion, discipline, creativity, and career growth.

🌸 International Women’s Day Celebrated at KLS IMER 🌸
KLS Institute of Management Education & Research, Belagavi celebrated International Women’s Day on March 8, 2026 with great enthusiasm.
Mrs. Chetana Sarang, Founder of Dattamsh, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour and delivered an inspiring talk on women’s empowerment, highlighting the importance of health, strong relationships, financial independence, innovation, and pursuing dreams with determination.
The programme was organised under the guidance of Director Dr. Arif Shaikh and co-ordinated by Prof. Savitha Kulkarni.

Ms. Shruti Gonde (MBA 2nd Year) won Gold Medal in Taekwondo (67 Kg) at the Intercollegiate Single Zone Competition of Rani Channamma University.
The event was hosted by KLE' Raja Lakhamgoud Science Institute on 6 March 2026.

A guest lecture on “What It Takes to Be an HR Professional”was organized for 3rd Semester HR Specialization students on Friday, 27th February 2026. Ms. Shravani Kulkarni-Business-HR Talent Acquisition , Aequs Limited, Belagavi – Lead, delivered an insightful session. She highlighted key qualities expected of aspiring HRs namely integrity, business acumen, empathy, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills. Breaking the common myth, she emphasized that HR is not just about people relations—but equally about loving numbers and data. She stressed the importance of understanding compliance, metrics, analytics, and financial implications in HR decisions. Students were encouraged to proactively engage in industry assignments and internships to build practical competence. She also advised developing adaptability and continuous learning to stay relevant in the evolving HR landscape. The session was highly interactive and inspiring, providing students with a clear roadmap for becoming future-ready HR professionals. Dr. Shailaja Hiremath, Associate Professor-HR organized the session. Dr. Arif Shaikh welcomed the guest speaker and encouraged students to learn practical aspects.

KLS IMER successfully organized the Union Budget 2026–27 Analysis Competition on 27.02.2026, with enthusiastic participation from 13 teams comprising both junior and senior MBA students.
The event aimed to strengthen students’ analytical abilities and critical thinking skills through an in-depth evaluation of the Union Budget, encouraging practical learning beyond the classroom.

The Centre for Ethics & Social Responsibility and Internal Quality Assurance Cell of KLS IMER (Autonomous) recently presented the Wellness 360 Series session focused on oral health and hygiene.
The resource person was Dr. Varsha Sathe, Dental Surgeon and Founder of the Aarogya Mitra Foundation, who delivered an insightful talk on oral health essentials. The session emphasized on preventive dental care and lifestyle choices that foster strong, healthy teeth and gums. Dr. Sathe addressed practical oral hygiene practices—including brushing techniques, flossing, and nutrition to help participants maintain optimal dental health. The program also explored the psychological benefits of a confident smile, linking oral wellbeing to enhanced self‑esteem and overall wellness.
