KLS Gogte College of Commerce, Belagavi, conducted the Past Students Association (PSA) meeting on July 13, 2024, at 3:30 p.m. in the K.K. Venugopal Auditorium. The past students from B.Com, B.B.A, B.C.A, and M.Com sections were invited to attend the PSA meet. Alumni of KLS GCC, Ms. Priyanka Satish Jarkiholi, Member of Parliament, was the chief guest for the function. Shri A.K. Tagare, Chairman, GCC, felicitated Ms. Priyanka Jarkiholi on behalf of the management.

The meeting began with a documentary video about the college. Prof. Deepa Tangankar, Coordinator, PSA, welcomed and introduced the chief guest. Ms. Priyanka was felicitated by Principal Dr. Venugopal Jalihal, invite Dr. H.H. Veerapur, and Prof. Deepa Tangankar at the PSA meet. In her address, Ms. Priyanka expressed her commitment to focusing on student welfare. She also shared her nostalgic feelings about returning to her alma mater and being felicitated.

Past students from batches 1978 to 2023 were present at the meeting. During the interaction, they expressed their willingness to help the college in any way possible, including providing internships to students, assisting with competitive exams, and more. Principal Dr. Venugopal Jalihal highlighted the significant role played by past students in the development of current students and the college. He also spoke about the progress of all departments and students.

The meeting was attended by Coordinator of B.Com Prof. Nayana Raichur, B.B.A Coordinator Prof. Rahul Kamule, B.C.A Coordinator Dr. Asmita Deshpande, M.Com Coordinator Dr. S.V. Jawalkar, teaching and non-teaching staff members. The PSA meeting concluded with a cultural performance by the past students.

In its pursuit to provide bright careers opportunity to the youth, KLS Gogte College of Commerce, Belagavi, in association with Belagavijobs.in organized a mega JOB FAIR-2023 event on December 23rd, 2023.
The Job Fair-2023, a novel initiative of KLS GCC event that evoked a massive response from the stake holders with a congregation of 24 companies from different sectors i.e. Automobile, Information Technology, Finance, BPO, Education and Technology, Retail & Consultancy offering 200+jobs .The event witnessed more than 892 candidates being interviewed, with 160+ candidates getting lucrative offers ranging from 2 to 6 LPA participating companies. The job seekers expressed their satisfaction at the available opportunities and HR managers appreciated the talent pool available in Belagavi and also thanked KLS GCC for its efforts in organizing an event of such magnitude.
The Job Fair was inaugurated by Shri. A. K. Tagare, Chairman GC on GCC. Dr. H. H. Veerapur Principal, Dr. Venugopal Jalihal BCA Co-Ordinator, Mr. Suhas Rajput CEO of Belagavijobs.in, Mr. Sagar Hulbatte, Training & Placement Officer, other teaching and non-teaching staff were present.
