📚 Guiding Future Dentists Towards Success! 🎯

The Placement Cell of KAHER’s KLE V.K. Institute of Dental Sciences, Belagavi, successfully organized a guest lecture on “Preparation for NEET Examination” for interns on 12th June 2026 at the Prosthodontic Gallery Hall.

The program was graced by the Principal and Vice-Principal of the institute. Dr. Shivayogi Charantimath, Member Secretary, Placement Cell, welcomed the gathering and highlighted the importance of the program in guiding interns toward postgraduate entrance examination preparation.

The session was delivered by Dr. Suresh Shenvi, Department of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, who shared valuable insights on effective preparation strategies, exam planning, resource selection, time management, and approaches to excel in the NEET MDS examination.

The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Shwetha Hugar.

🦷 Oral Cancer Screening & Awareness Program

The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, in association with the NSS Unit of KLE VK Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital, Belagavi, conducted an Oral Cancer Screening and Awareness Program on 15th June 2026.

The initiative emphasized the importance of early detection through screening using the advanced VELscope® Vx autofluorescence device. The programme also featured an insightful session by Dr. Nisha Jaisree, who shared valuable perspectives on oral cancer screening, risk factors, and emerging diagnostic technologies.

Through such initiatives, KLE VKIDS continues to promote awareness, preventive care, and better oral health within the community.
