🌼 Assemblage on Sadbhavna Diwas & World Mosquito Day on 20th August 2026 by RPSIS, Middle wing
🤝 Sadbhavna Diwas – 20 August
Sadbhavna Diwas is observed every year on 20 August to promote the values of peace, harmony, unity, and goodwill among people on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and reminds us of the importance of living together with mutual respect and understanding.
“Let us replace differences with understanding, hatred with love, and conflict with harmony.”
🦟
World Mosquito Day is observed every year on 20 August to create awareness about mosquitoes and the serious diseases they can transmit, such as malaria, dengue, chikungunya, and yellow fever.
The day commemorates the discovery made by Sir Ronald Ross in 1897 that female mosquitoes transmit malaria between humans.
Students of grade 6th played a skit and recited a funny poem which spread an important message of keeping their surroundings clean, avoiding stagnant water, keeping water containers covered, and following healthy practices to prevent mosquito breeding.
“No stagnant water, no mosquito breeding—clean surroundings, healthier lives!”
🌍 A Message for Students
Sadbhavna Diwas teaches us to care for people, while World Mosquito Day reminds us to care for our surroundings.
Let us build a world where we live with harmony, act with kindness, keep our surroundings clean, and work together for a healthier and happier tomorrow.
“Spread goodwill, not illness; spread kindness, not mosquitoes!”
