Krishna Janmashtami is a unique festival in itself, this day is celebrated to rejoice the birth of Lord Shri Krishna, the eighth child of Dewaki, who was supposed to be the incarnation of Vishnu. It was said that Lord Krishna was sent to earth, to fight all evil, and establish the truth.
The childhood of Lord Krishna is full of his notorious adventures.
In Indian Mythology, Shri Krishna is treated as a child more and less as a diety, therefore, every year on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami, mothers love to dress up their children as Krishna and his kin Radha.
OXFAME ACADEMY, appreciates this custom, and tries to promote our culture.In a small attempt to re-create this fantasy, children were dressed up as Radha Krishna.

Two types of competitions were organized on this occasion. First there was a competition to dress up as Radha Krishna and then English word spelling competition was conducted among the children.
